I started running a few months ago (at age 47) after a lifetime of hating running. I realized I needed a good tool to help me out. The Polar F6 has been a superb tool and motivator. What it especially helped me realize was how hard I started running initially, which led to early exhaustion and sore muscles. Using the F6, I've been able to monitor my heart rate accurately and to use that as a gauge to speed up or slow down. The F6 is extremely accurate and responsive. Yesterday I even wore it all day to monitor my heart rate post-workout and throughout the work day to check resting rates, etc. Bottom line: a great value for the price
