For gamers who want to step into the wonderful world of the NVIDIA G80 PNY has the lowest cost NVIDIA 8800 GTS 320MB graphics card on the market. Sure you can get faster cards that run the same GPU in the overclocked models from the other big manufacturers, but they can go for over $50 more than PNY's offering....read the full review

5 of 5 Great card at a great price Thursday, June 07, 2007
Jon S. from Arlington, VA

This Card has been working great for me - not too hot or too large and it overclocked very smoothly. F.E.A.R runs awesome!

5 of 5 wow Tuesday, May 29, 2007
Ap0stle from Emeryville, Ca
The best video card for its money on the market. Counter-Strike: Source gets 120+ fps on all maps with full graphics. HD-Videos are seamless and I know I will beable to play future games no problem with this card. Great buy!

5 of 5 Great Bang for the Buck. Sunday, May 27, 2007
steveoh from San Francisco, CA
I purchased the XLR8 from Buy.com. They delivered it fast and gave me the best deal that I could find. I'm very happy with this card. I was able to overclock it to 600/900 using Coolbits and nvflash and it's stable. Please note that according to PNY this voids the warranty. My games run smoothly. Made boot disk using Nero and placed modified rom created from coolbits on disk with nvflash utility. Then I typed "nvflash newname.rom". Worked great.

5 of 5 Great video card Friday, May 25, 2007
A Customer from Spokane, WA
Runs all my games perfectly at 1280x1024 (NFS Carbon, Titan Quest, Battlefield 2142). Make sure you have a good CPU to go with it. E4300 at stock speed (1.8ghz) will run all games just fine, but downlclocking the video card to 350mhz (vs. 500 stock) yields no performance degredation whatsoever.

5 of 5 excellent value Friday, May 25, 2007
A Customer from springfield, va
this card is great i went from a 6800gt to this and the difference is amazing. I actually play better in bf2. full settings i get stable 100fps. cod2 get around 50fps but its perfectly playable as long as it doesn't dip to 30. It runs at 163f idle and about 176 under load. Also the rebate i got came in about 2 weeks or so, fastest one I've ever seen

5 of 5 GREAT for the $$$ Thursday, May 24, 2007
A Customer from Richfield, MN
I was a bit skeptical of the 320MB (1/2 of the big-brother's 640MB), but on my 24" Gateway monitor, I'm pushing every game I own (newest being Test Drive: Unlimited for reference) at 1920x1200 with details set to "High" + 4X AA...no problems whatsoever. Very happy with it so far...can't beat it for $260.

5 of 5 Great card, great service from buy.com Saturday, May 12, 2007
A Customer from Norfolk, VA
This is a great video card that will run any current game I throw at it on highest settings. I managed to get this card for $230 (it was on sale w/ rebate). I was very suprised that the rebate was processed within two weeks.

5 of 5 Sweet Card Saturday, May 12, 2007
A Customer from Beaverton Oregon
Beautiful video card. The only downside is that the giant heatsink and fan dont keep the gpu temp below 50C at idle.

5 of 5 Awesome performance. Saturday, May 05, 2007
A Customer from Las Vegas, NV
I got this card for ($...), free shipping, with a ($..)mail-in-rebate and ($...)off for using google check-out. ($...)for this card is an incredible price. I previously had a 6800GS that worked fairly good but dropped around 10 frames per second in WoW. I had even bought a second 6800GS and hooked them up using SLI, but it didn't make a huge improvement and limited me to 1 monitor. This car runs WoW flawlessly and doesn't drop below 25 frames per second even in the most graphic intensive areas. Most of the time it stays at the maximum of 60 frame per second. In counter strike source, I get around 140 frames per second at max quality. Only con about this card is that it runs fairly hot. It was running at about 75 degrees celcius with the stock settings. I downloaded nVidia's nTune and put the fan speed at 100% and now it only goes up to 66 celcius under load. Also, even though directX 10 is great, most of the games I play don't support it and still run with 9.

5 of 5 BEST price/performance you can find. Thursday, May 03, 2007
A Customer from Schaumburg, IL
I was considering the 8600gts, and I'm sooo happy I got this instead. I've only had a chance to use it a little, but from what I have seen with some quick testing, it's easily 2x as fast as my last 7600gs. If you can catch this card at the recent $259 offering, don't hesitate. I managed to before it sold out in like 4 hours. Along with that, I got the no longer available $20 rebate, and $30 off with first purchases on the Buy.com credit card...free shipping that arrived in 2 days...basically I paid $209 for this card. Insane.

5 of 5 WARRANTY FACTS not B.S. Wednesday, May 02, 2007
Steve from Vincentown NJ
3 years and 5 with registration. There is nothing I hate more than an ignorant post like the one above... must be from XFX or Evga to make such a stupid comment. Also the card overclocks like a champ 650 2000 with stock cooling.

3 of 5 It is PNY :( Friday, April 27, 2007
A Customer from NY
You getting a good performance for the price you pay. This card looks cheap and I wish the package content was better (most companies include free games and some other cool stuff). And 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY it is a joke. I hope it is not going to die on me.

5 of 5 Great card for the money Saturday, April 21, 2007
A Customer from NM Albuquerque
At first had some quake 4 issues, after downloading latest drivers and updating direct x then reinstalling quake 4 the game ran at full res with 8x aa. After all rebates I paid 224.00 for this card. Its a sweet deal. Also ran Doom 3 at full res with no stutter. Might even invest in another card and try SLI.
