5 of 5 Works well for Solidworks 2008 Sunday, June 29, 2008
A Customer from Rochester, NY

I am the network admin for my company. I had to find a card that worked well with Solidworks. Although Solidworks lists many cards on their site, many don't work well with their 2008 version. They lock up and cause blue screens of death. Thumbs down to Solidworks for making such an unstable product that is so picky about the card it will run with. I finally had to breakdown and pay the $800 (after trying cards that were under $500) to get a card that would run with Solidworks 2008. If your someone who routinely invests $1000-$2000 in a graphics card, then you might get a real value out of this one.
