I decided to buy this card after buying a noisy (defective) 8800GT. I have to say this card is much better in terms of noise level, running temperature and overclocking. I'm able to run this card at a 792 mhz core and 2100 mhz (effective) memory speed with absolutely no problems at 60% fan speed running 60 degrees C average using only 1 case fan. The only negative thing I can think of for this card is that it doesn't come with a free game as many cards include.

This card is a monster! Run every thing smoothly. Very quiet! For me, the con is that it is hard to fit into my dell 530. I have to change the hard disk position and have no chance to add another hard disk.

Simply put, the best video card I've ever owned. Outstanding resolution & FPS. Haven't used software yet to crank the fan up, but seems to hold pretty good even under a full load. Love the graphics this thing produces... simply amazing. If you're a gamer or into graphics intensive operations, you'll love this card. Great value from buy.com with a rebate too. In the end, got it cheaper than a regular 8800GT. Now, that's a nice deal! Great service from Buy.com, recommend them, and have since bought a new psu from them as well. Overall, fantastic product, well worth the time. I did extensive research before buying, and noted a lot of heating issues being noted on the regular 8800GT... go with the GTS, you'll be much happier in the long run with cooling, performance, and quality. This graphics card is amazing, and you won't be sorry!

Ordered on a Saturday... item was shipped on a Wed, & had it by Friday. What a difference! With rebate, makes it cheaper than some 8800GT's that are out there, and much better value, performance than those. Great deal, great performance!
