5 of 5 PS3 Has Everything You Need. Thursday, March 26, 2009 JSKI from Chicago, IL.
Fantastic next gen gaming, Blue Ray is incredible, Upscaling for videos is awesome, Use of it as a media center solved my problem of being able to wirelessly access all my pictures and music from my upstairs computer on a device downstairs. PS# is all good. Free shipping choice got to my home in 2 days!!! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Guitar is good, have to know how to setup Monday, November 24, 2008 A Gamer from Delaware, OH
In order to get the guitar and usb dongle to connect, you have to hold both button in for a second, not just push one then the other. It was frustrating trying to get them to connect based on instructions that came with guitar. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 good guitar for the price Thursday, November 20, 2008 Jeremy from Illinois
I got this one for $28 after my original guitar quit working. Its not as good looking as the original but it works good. It is a pain to get it to link up the first time but eventually it should work. I did that 84 track marathon with it and it still works. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 An excellent replacement or additional guitar Thursday, October 16, 2008 wrpdhumr from PA
This is my second FrontMan guitar for PS3. As most people are aware, the standard Rock Band guitar is quite glichy. Yes, the neck on this guitar is a little on the thick side. With longer fingers, it is very comfortable. I tried to go back to the stock GH3/RB guitars and play much better with the FrontMan. I did have a problem getting both guitars to link at the same time but once I got to link the first time, it links right up now. Battery life is good and when the batteries die you can plug the included USB cable in to keep playing and charge your rechargeable batteries. Overall I recommend this to any one looking for a second guitar that will work with both RB and GH. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 It's ok, but a little bit flaky, and it looks poor Sunday, August 03, 2008 elli0788 from New York
It looks way too much like plastic, not like the rock band guitar which has a polished finish. it was a little difficult to connect at first but once I got it to, it works fine. the buttons occasionally mess up and don't register that I'm pressing them down, but in general, If you are just playing with a couple friends for fun, it doesn't really matter.
what drew me to it was that you could use it for rock band and guitar hero, so in that aspect, it satisfies me Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Instructions Don't Work Tuesday, July 15, 2008 J from Bartlett, Ilinois
The product works when it works. However, you will run into an issue trying to get the guitar to sync up with your system if you follow the directions. This may not work for all of you so if you are having an issue try this.
<br><br>
1 - Plug in the dongle to the usb port on your PS3. That would be the one with the foot pedal looking thing.
<br>
2 - Obviously put batteries into the guitar. There is no on off button on it.
<br>
3 - Make sure you have the right game selected on the foot pedal (GH or RB)
<br>
4 - Press the foot pedal
<br>
5 - Press the nyko button on the guitar
<br>
<br>
That should get it working (at least in my case). Good luck! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good Solution Sunday, May 18, 2008 A Gamer from Phoenix, AZ
Works well with both Guitar Hero 3 and Rock Band on the PS3. Initial sync took time and had to be done 2 or 3 times. Ever since then it syncs quickly. Recommended. Was this review helpful?
