5 of 5 A really Good Bluetooth headset Friday, October 09, 2009 John from Wyomoing
Works with push-to-talk on comfortable, and fits really well to where it will not come off your head.
It also works well with my computer and my cell phone at the same time the range of the Bluetooth signal is outstanding. The battery life of the small headset lasts long time as well and if your phone had voiced activated system it dose good and that as well.

3 of 5 Using with an IP softphone - Jury is still out Wednesday, December 03, 2008 Jeff from San Jose, CA
I bought this product to use with my Cisco IP Communicator softphone one my laptop, using Cisco IP telephony equipment. Before installing, I found that my laptop actually has a bluetooth interface built in; I just needed to download the drivers from Lenovo. So now I am using the built-in bluetooth system with this headset and here is my experience:
- I have not been able to get the persono software to work. Remote off-hook when the phone is ringing does nothing. I need to answer the phone first with my mouse. Same with hanging up.
- When I walk away from my laptop while talking, I begin to hear static in my ear, which grows with distance. I guess that's to be expected, and I can live with that, but I don't know how it sounds to the person I'm talking to.
- If I walk far enough away I lose contact (which again is expected), and when I come back into range I need to press a button on the earpiece to reconnect. That works - usually, but occasionally it appears to reconnect but audio never works again until I reboot. That I cannot live with, so...
I plan on reinstalling using the included bluetooth USB attachment rather than the laptop's built-in bluetooth system. Maybe that will solve all the problems above.
Those problems aside though, comfort and convenience and sound quality, both in and out, are great. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 look cheap, easy use Wednesday, May 07, 2008 ph9 from Ohio
Voyager 510-USB is highly compatible with my Sony Ericsson cell phone and notebook. But the plastic and rubber part of this handset looks cheap. There are some scratchs in the rubber part. Also, the package is too simple. For those reasons, it is not worth this price. Expensive one should have high class appearance and good performance. Thus, I am disappointed with it. I like the Plantronics voyager 510-usb. it does the job but if you plan on keeping it on for most of the day, Your Ear will hurt you. it is kind a bit havier than expected. One thing it last all day long with my regluar use. My main reason for ordering it was for Voice over IP with Yahoo Massanger. It works and great buy. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 As good as they get Tuesday, April 15, 2008 A Customer from Costa Mesa, CA
Headset is comfortable and easy to use. Linking to VOIP and cell phone is a snap. Bluetooth link seems to vary with type of phone. Links to my LG phone easily, picks up link as soon as headset is turned on, and never drops the link. Not a good with my Razr phone. Sometimes difficult to establish link. Sound quality is excellent and as good as it gets. Love this product for the most part. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great buy! Friday, November 30, 2007 A Customer from state college, pa
I love this headset! I love buy.com!
My main concern was quality of sound, both incoming and outgoing. Both are great. The volume and mute buttons (which you need to use to turn it off and on) are a little tougher to manipulate but it's not a huge deal. The only time that is a factor is when you are trying to turn it on or off and need to use two hands. Otherwise, this is a great product. Delivered quickly at a great price. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great headset Thursday, November 29, 2007 Mike M. from Paoli, PA
This headset actually works in noisy environments like computer rooms, and it works well. You can actually hear the person on the other end and they can hear you. Unlike many other Bluetooh headsets I have tried, this one is easy to put on. The noise cancellation feature works well and it is comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time. I have noticed that it does not work well while walking outdoors, as it picks up too much wind, but indoors it is perfect! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Simple, efficient, versatile Bluetooth headset Sunday, April 08, 2007 Michael M. from Paoli, PA
This Plantronics Bluetooth headset is one of the best out there, and I have tried many, including other Plantronics models. This headset allows the user to hear clearly in noisy environments, and allows the caller on the other end to hear the user clearly. This is especially true in places such as noisy offices or datacenter computer rooms. One place it does not work well is outside in windy environments, but very few headsets work well in wind. The USB charger and bluetooth adapter on this particular model make this a great kit with great connectivity. I have used this headset with the Televantage softphone and a Blackberry handset and it works great for both applications! Was this review helpful?

Purchased this unit for my home office. I use it with my Motorola Razr V3 and Avaya VoIP software at the same time. Just a push of the button you can answer either phone. No interference with my Wireless Lan. Good voice quality, and battery life. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best of the bluetooth headsets Monday, January 01, 2007 Alan Zahn ajzahn from Roebling NJ
This headset is the best one so far. I work in a high noise environment, and the ear bud fits into your ear with 3 different size interchangable buds available, and it is comfortable for hours in your ear. The design also makes it fit more securely on the ear so it doesn't feel like it's going to fall out all the time. Plenty of volume, so even though I'd almost given up on bluetooth technology because they all seem to lack volume. I was initially off put by the seeming larger size of the unit, but it fits behind the ear, and doesn't have a cumbersome appearance when it's on.
Can't say anything negative about it!!! Buy this headset if you've given up on bluetooth technology. You won't regret it! Works great with Motorola E815 phone. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Headset !! Thursday, November 16, 2006 A Customer from Atlanta, GA
This headset is awesome !! It was very easy to setup and works as advertised. I am using a Verizon 7130e Blackberry and a Cisco 7960 IP/Telephony phone. It switches between calls seamlessly without having to pair up the devices. Currently only offers basic headset features with the Cisco 7960 but expect improvements to come with software updates. The headset is confortable and the noise cancelling microphone works as advertised. The volume is great and easly adjusts. If your looking for one headset that does it all, this is it !!! This headset is GREAT!
I had it set up and configured within 15 minutes of receiving it. I did have a little trouble with the microphone setup. Windows XP took the headset for my default speakers, but I had to manually choose the headset as my default microphone.
Once I got that out of the way, everything worked well. It's very comfortable and I can very easily switch between using it for my cellphone (Audiovox XV6700 - Verizon) and Yahoo Messenger with Voice (although Yahoo hasn't integrated their service with Plantronics' Personocall software, so I do have to turn the headset on and also accept the incoming call).
