5 of 5 Great, simple, dependable headset Tuesday, July 15, 2008 A Customer from Los Angeles, CA
With its large behind-the-ear component, this headset looks old school compared to many sleek, ultra-mods you see out there. But everyone I know who has one that's held in place mostly by the earpiece complains that it's uncomfortable. Contrarily, I literally forget I have this one on. I'll be walking around the house having come in from driving and my kids will say, "Hey, Dad, are you trying to impress us that you're important by still wearing your headset?" Moreover, I have no problems with the controls or audibility; I think the design is overall elegant simplicity. I'd recommend it to anyone. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Love it... Sunday, July 13, 2008 jpartington@sbcglobal.net from Houston, TX
My old Motorola bluetooth had died. I really wanted something different. Better. I browsed around and found this Plantronics headset. It is an excellent product for many reasons. I can barely feel that I am wearing it. The noise cancellation works exceptionally well. I always get such good reception. I used to hate to talk on my cell phone, because I could not hear people well. The main body of the unit goes behind my ear and I do not have anything huge hanging on the front of my ear. There are different sized ear buds that come with it. It fits comfortably in my ear and I wear it all day long. No problems. I recommend it highly. Great price, too. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 One of the best Thursday, June 19, 2008 A Customer from Walker, LA
I am going on my second one. I have had the plantronics 220 and a few different Moto,s but I come back to this one. I bought 2 one for me and one for my girlfriend. They both puked 2 years later about a month apart. But I just bought 2 more. They could improve the rubber part on the sides. From skin oils they tend to "blow up" or expand.
Never the less it is one of the best blue "teeth" buds around!

5 of 5 pretty good Tuesday, June 17, 2008 A Customer from ashburn, va
its a little big but it works really well. disturbance is minimal, seems to reduce wind noise to some extent and it also acts as a mono headset when i listen to music. i was at the gym - listening to some music on my phone and stepped away to get some water and i was probably 30 feet away and it still worked - that was cool. 5 of 5 This is a keeper Monday, June 16, 2008 A Customer from Barnhart MO
This is my third unit. One for me, one for my wife. Unfortunately they don't take to swimming pools very well. The unit is so comfortable that you literally forget you have it on. And the new WindSmart technology is even better than the old technology.
I have tried several high end Bluetooth units but this one outperforms them all. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Another satisfied customer - me Wednesday, June 04, 2008 A Customer from Westlake Village, CA
It works pretty good. I sometimes have slight distubance on my headset but overall I'm satisfied with its performance. I would recommend this product. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The best Bluetooth headset I've had so far Tuesday, June 03, 2008 ASR from Mill Valley, CA
I've gone through three other Bluetooth headsets before this one. Friends used to tell me that it was hard to hear me on my Jabra headset. So I ran out and got a Plantronics Voyager 810. Sound quality was excellent both listening and speaking -- but I could not get the piece to stay snugly in my ear. The 810 model has the flimsiet piece of plastic as an ear stabilizer.
So, I got the 510 model and I've been EXTREMELY pleased. Sound quality is excellent -- it's a Plantronics. It fits very comfortably around my ear. The only knock on it is that it's supposed to have some technology to combat wind and I've had to resort to cupping my hand over the mouthpiece to have friends hear me clearly. Otherwise, an excellent product. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 very good Wednesday, May 21, 2008 A Customer from 33470
i purchased this bluetooth earpiece in 6/07 and it has worked very well and clear. good size for a man's ear, may be too big for a smaller person or female user but it it is quite good. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Product Wednesday, May 14, 2008 Satisfied Customer from Vacaville, CA
Very high sound quality. For the size of the unit, extremely comfortable. Easy controls, works well with multiple phones. Very good product for the money. I use this unit about 12 hours a day, and am very happy with the performance and overall quality. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Product and Worth the Price Wednesday, May 14, 2008 JEH from Gwynn's Island, VA
This product lives up to the reviews on the site. It was easy to use and the voice recognition is great! The product us so light I hardly notice I am wearing it. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great headset for multiple cell phones & the car Monday, May 12, 2008 A Customer from Tacoma, WA
Have two of these PLT 510s. Have company and personal cell phones and this headset switches seamlessly. Was considering the Jawbone but wanted the muli-point and the comfort.
Pro's: Multipoint, comfortable, long battery life, noise canceling. Good call quality on different carriers' towers. People can actually hear me ini my noisy older VW. Works with my eyeglasses too!
Con's: Wish the volume was a tad louder and the earbuds should be silicone not foam. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Reliable product from company with good customer s Sunday, April 27, 2008 gohum from MD
I bought the 3rd headset for myself and family members and I admit that this product is very good, has reasonable pricing and is topped with the company's commitment to customers. They replace my 6 month old headset with a new one as I complained about its recent failure to connect to the phone. I'm still not sure if it's the phone problem or not. Still the company sent me a new one next day. Isn't that wonderful. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Extraordinary comfort, overall good choice Thursday, April 17, 2008 A Customer from Lakewood, WA
The thing that I have been most impressed with is the unbelievable comfort of this unit. I was concerned when I opened the package and saw how big it was but WOW is this thing comfortable.
I use the earpiece that is shaped like a bike seat and it slides very easily right into the end of the ear canal and provides a very effective barrier to background noise.
This unit can also be quite loud. The last two that I had before this were never loud enough while I was driving...no problem here.
The signal between the headset and the phone can be a little garbled sometimes (10-15% of the calls) and the function of the buttons to mute, end calls, and other functions are not very intuitive but after using it for a few more weeks I am sure that I will get used to them.
Overall I am very, very pleased and think that it is well worth the money.
My wife has a 520 and it is very nice as well, but just not as comfortable. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Bluetooth Thursday, April 17, 2008 A Customer from Pittsburgh, PA

This is a great bluetooth headset. I've tried Jabra JX-10, Jawbone and others and this is the best of the bunch. The headset fit and comfort is very personal so I highly recommend trying out multiple ones first. I like the fact that this fits over the ear snuggly, is light, and is comfortable. Doesn't feel like it's going to fall out and yet is not tight at all. I've been using it for 2 months and sound quality is excellent. So far I haven't heard complaints from anyone! My son uses this driving a tractor trailer, after trying several different ones, he has been most satisfied with the 510. I have bought 3 so far, one for granddaughter at Christmas, then one each for my husband and I. This is the third 510 I have bought. It is great, especially driving, and shopping not having to fumble for the cell phone. I researched a lot also on these, and was mostly satisfied with the 510 reviews and also the price. I would suggest the Plantronics Voyager 510 as all my family are very happy with it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Plantronics Voyager 510 Monday, March 10, 2008 Cuong Nguyen from Morgan Hill, CA
Awesome headphone. Works well. Very little problem. The in-ear sounds better than the over-the-ear but I have to say that I cannot wear this the whole day as the weight would be noticable after a couple of hours. This is better than the Discovery series in my opinion. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great with my Treo 700wx Saturday, March 01, 2008 T Graveman from Cullman, AL
This headset works great with my Treo 700wx. Far better than the Jabra I was using, had to keep resetting the bluetooth on my phone with it. When this one goes into standby, I just press the button on the side and the phone picks it back up. Has pretty good range and can have it in either ear with the phone on the other side of my body and it works. My only complaint with this unit is that I wish it had a gel earpiece like the Jabra. I swap ears several times per day. Was this review helpful?

This thing is crazy! It is so big that it actually HURTS once it's worn for more than 30 minutes. I admit that I have very small ears, but this was rated as a good one for smaller ears. I must have read the reviews wrong b/c it is awful. My husband tried it too (his ears are "normal" size) and he found the same thing, it actually made our ears sore after having it on 30+ minutes. Sound quality was good, but that's about the only positive thing we have to say about it. Was this review helpful?

Always makes noise. Connection strenght is very weak. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great product Tuesday, February 26, 2008 dennisfsu from Phoenix, Az
This is the second one I own, and I could not be happier. Sound is clear, and the windsmart tech does wonders for wind noise. Fits comfortably and it is very easy to pair. Must buy! Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great comfort and value Monday, February 25, 2008 Bret from Austin, TX
Great headset for the money. Get some static every now and then, but it could just be my phone instead of the headset. Very comfortable. People I'm talking to say they can hear me very clearly. I was trying to decide between this headset and the Jawbone. The main deciding factor was the price of this headset and the great reviews for it. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Max COMFORT & SOUND quality on Plantronics 510! Sunday, February 24, 2008 Jeanne from Thomaston, CT
Although a bit pricey even with prices that have dropped, I find this to be the most comfortable piece and worth the higher cost. Sound quality and wind noise canceling are superb. I have even worn this while riding my motorcycle (Harley with short pipes)and heard a caller quite clearly. This is my second one as I lost the first one after owning it trouble free for two years. I had lost & found it regularly so I must say that an added locator tone or beep would be a nice addition for a newer model. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Wonderful Hands-free device Tuesday, February 19, 2008 Eric from Long Beach, CA
I really like this hands-free device. It was very easy to set up and pair with my cell phone and laptop. It has 3 earpiece attachments for the comfort of user. Pick up distance of signal is alos wonderful and better than my previous Motorola H700. Sound is clear and I have not experienced any interruptions or intermittent signal.
