Plantronics Pulsar 590E Bluetooth Stereo Headset

I we very impressed with the turn around time with delivery of the headset....I think 3 days. The headset itself is really nice. Everyone that I talk to on it says it doesn't even sound like I'm on a headset at all. The stereo output is very good as well although I can't figure out why, on my phone, I can listen to music through the headset but sound doesn't come through the headset when I'm watching a video....very odd. I haven't figured out how to click over when another call comes through either but I'm sure that's just user error on my part. Overall, a very good experience so far.

Very good overall. Only reasons I do not give it is a five are: - Noise cancellation / abatement on microphone could be better - The over-the-head part could stand some padding

The headset works as advertised - good sound in both wired and wireless configurations and good battery life in wireless. I have used this headset wireless for 6-8 hours a day, recharge it every night and it works fine.

Okay, so I have drawer full of Bluetooth headsets that either did not stick to my ear, I could not hear the caller, the caller could not hear me, or I had to switch from earbuds to bluetooth while driving...I needed a real solution. The Plantronics 590E Bluetooth headset is a HIT! I can listen to my music from my iPod Touch, or my T-Mobile phone and receive calls. The headset will mute automatically. It is a double headset so noise is cancelled out and I can hear my callers. The built-in mic is very effective. A single charge lasts more than eight days; sometimes more. The price from Buy-dot-com was the best on the internet, it arrived a day early. Five Stars for this solution.

Headset delivers much better sound than expected. Call quality is excellent too, with callers telling me they couldn't tell I was using bluetooth. I bought these after returning a pair of Cardo S2 I bought elswhere. The Cardo S2's were uncomfortable and callers could not hear me well. The Plantronics has a telescoping mic that seems to channel the sound much better than the Cardo's which have an ineffectual mic built into the headphone. Plus, it seems like all Plantronics products deliver the best call quality. My main beef with this model is the flashing blue light. Looks goofy. Also, you have to be careful picking the compatible model. The 590E I have is for bluetooth 2.0, Amazon has a 590# that's for an earlier generation, 1.1 or 1.2, a problem that easily could have been solved by changing the model name or at least more prominently displaying the bandwith (or whatever you call the difference between 2.0 and 1.2 in the language of bluetooth).

I bought this to replace another headset that broke during air travel. My prior experience with Plantronics equipment was quite positive, so I thought I'd give this a try. This headset is very nice, comforable and performs beautifully. My only minor complaint is that the battery life seems a bit short, though I don't have any measurements to back that up. The headset works beautifully with my Nokia N76 phone, both for listening to the MP3 player and for hands-free operation when engaged in business conference calls. I'm quite happy with this product and would recommend it.

Works and sounds great but I wish you could shut off the blinking light.
