I have had 3 other blue tooth, and they are all pretty easy to use. I found this one, very good in compatability and also set up. Instructions are clear and sound quality seems to be good.

This is not a difficult technology. It might take a few minutes to connect to your phone's bluetooth since every phone is different but then its smooth sailing.. or talking. The sound quality is real good and there's some noise control for background sound if its consistant, not something like my dog panting at the window from the seat behind me. This is a good product, Id recommend it over any Motorolla bluetooth headset Ive ever used, hands down. I think I'll even buy my mom one since its that straight forward, at least I know she can set it up and learn to use it herself!

Call quality is good, pairing with phones is excellent, Fit and finish is excellent. However only annoying factor i find is it flashes with very bright light all the time when it is ON. It seems to attract a lot of attention unnecessarily.

This is my first bluetooth and I like it. The sound quality is very good. I haven't had it very long but my husband has one and he really likes it.

Not only was this unit affordable but extremely functional. I mean it doesn't have the bells and whistles that the other headsets offer, like being extremely tiny or noise cancellation features. But this product was priced right and works very well. This is my second plantronics bluetooth headset, the first one worked forever I had my original bluetooth headset for more than 4 years before it gave out on me and I use my bluetooth everyday. The highlights in my opinion: Fit- It fits snuggly in your ear without feeling as though you will lose it. Simplicity- I love that plantronics changed the design by only having one sole button for every action. The volume, on/off and activation buttons are one in the same. It is more of a joystick than a actual button now. Brilliant design! Illumination- The light is bigger and brighter on this model in comparison to the older Voyager.

For model 340, no complaints so far, everything seems to be working well. I am using Plantronics model 330 purchased 2.5 years ago, still going strong.

This is was first bluetooth it a has been learning experience. The one complaint I have with the Plantronics Explorer 340 that it sometime it has static. It took some getting use to, but it comfortable.

I did not need a new Bluetooth ear headset. The one I had was still in good working condition, although from time to time I had difficulty hearing when the volume was up as hg as it could go. When I saw the price that Buy.com was offering on the “Plantronics Explorer 340 Bluetooth Headset”, and the free shipping, I could not pass up such a great deal. I was surprised at how quick my order came in. The headset is the best I have ever owned. I can hear far better with the Plantronics Explorer 340 Bluetooth Headset, without having the volume all the way up. This is a great product, I recommend it, if you’re in the market for a new Bluetooth.

I bought this after loosing my previous Plantronics ear piece. It is a great deal for the price and I can hear very well out of it. (even in my 1993 noisy Corolla). I do not like the flashing blue light at night and if you use it for a long time your ear will hurt a bit.

This is my first bluetooth. I found it easy to setup and use. It is way better than using an ear bud. I use it with my samsung sch-u740 phone, and it works well and has good sound quality. It can even dial anyone in my addresses book by voice command by just pressing for 3 seconds and saying "call NAME". It is pretty accurate and does not require pre-recording any name in your existing contact list. A great buy.

The product is very comfortable and lightweight. However the reception is good on your end but on the other end the caller constantly complains about static during the call. I am using a Motorola Razor phone. The syching process worked flawlessly and the features worked on the device.

I had a motorola bluetooth and my frnd had a plantronics bluetooth so shopped for one and got this in a deal. This bluetooth is awesome and it is really a wonderful device. clear sound and clearly the other person can hear us. Also i was asked once "are u really speaking on a bluetooth??" by one of my frnds. so i would rate this product as really good.

I use this headset with my Motorola Razr and it's worked well so far. It is very lightweight and doesn't hurt my ear like a few others I've tried. I like the fact that nothing sticks in my ear, but I can still hear. At first it didn't seem to hold a charge very well, but it seems to be lasting longer now that I've ran it down and recharged it a few times. I'm very happy with this headset.

I bought this for $20, including shipping, and so far it works great. In fact, I like it better than the one I lost, an LG brand that I paid $100 for two years ago. I actually like this better because the rubber ear piece comfortably fits in your ear to secure it better to my ear without the discomfort of a long ear canal type ear piece.

First, I must give a great review to order entry, notification, and delivery to Buy.com. I am always satisfied with the purchasing process that Buy.com has provided to me...excellent. I had a Plantronics 510 that I wore out. I saw this item for sale and went with it. It set up very well, great sound, but I am a heavy phone user and this model just does not have enough cushion and after about 2 hours it begins to hurt my ear around the back and the ear canal as well. I hope I can adjust to it...it works very well with great volume as well.

It is decent. My wife tells me she can understand me ok but it doesn't sound great. If I am more than like 4 feet away from my phone (Env2) I start to hear clicking, like it is loosing reception. In quiet circumstances the headset does ok. It does pickup all background noise.

I've had this bluetooth for a few weeks now and I think it is a decent product for the money. When I am talking with people, I can hear them very well and it is easy to use. The only complaint I have is that if I am speaking with someone on a bluetooth and we are both in the car, the background noise is horrible. I can hear a lot of their background noise and they tell me that they can hear my noise. Even when I am speaking with someone who is not in the car and I am, they tell me I sound like I am in a tunnel or underwater.

We use these headsets at work, we are constantly outside, many times in windy conditions...it performs very well..our customers on the other end say we sound clear, not like on a speaker phone..and aren't getting the background noise. buy.com shipped it and it arrived within a couple days. works about 30 feet away from my phone. we have several of this model. work around many power lines and big buildings, many people. no interference or problems with reception. good bluetooth, good value at buy.com

This is a great Bluetooth headset. I am using it with a Palm Centro. Pairing was easy and simple. Usining it is easy and simple. Unlike another bluetooth that I bought, no one has asked if I was on a bluetooth when I am using it.

I bought it through Buy.com. I bought few other stuff through them and their service is awesome, Fast and easy to track the shipment. Product is also great. Easy to handle and use. Works great outdoors but inside the house, reception is not that great. Sometimes I could pick up other signals from some unknown sources but don't complain because using it in-house may not be the intent of it in the first place, I prefer it when I am driving or walking. Overall, its a decent product for the price.

Good product for the price. The only problem I have is that voice gets "choppy" unless I have the phone less than 3- 4 feet away. This may just be my phone though.

This is my second bluetooth device. The first was much more expensive and a little bit better, but this is a much better value/deal. Easy to use, holds a charge for a looooong time, and a great value for the price. If you are debating between a more expensive piece and this one, go with this one. You will not be sacrificing quality for cost.

I have experimented with 10+ Bluetooth headsets. The plantronics 510 lasted 2 years (far longer than any other brand) so I decided to give the 340 a try. After 1 month I have to say it far exceeds what I expected for this price. The 5 series plantronics provides better noise filtering and syncing to multipe devices but if you need a basic bluetooth headset, this is the one!.

This unit fits in my ear perfectly- it is comfortable and does not work loose like my last BT earpiece. I feel confident that I can wear it around without worrying, nor does it annoy me. Also, it paired up flawlessly with my old Motorola 815e phone. The only reason I didn't give the unit a "5" in terms of performance is that I've only ever had one other BT ear piece, so how could I know? This much I do know: I have no trouble hearing and I've had no complaints from my callers. Great product for the price!

This is my first bluetooth device. Great for the price. Have had some complaints from people that I've talked to while driving. They've said that there was background noise. This is expected from a device that does not have noise cancelation, but something to consider. If I purchase a different one down the road, I'd probably pay the extra money for a higher end device.

Paired up easily with Motorola phone. Volume for beeps and stuff is kind of loud. Has only one stationary ear bud so the fit may be a problem for many. For me, without the ear loop it would fall right off so the loop better not break! Slightly easier to put on with eyeglasses than my difficult Jabra. Has yet another proprietary charger with a plug that won't fit anything else. But reception and clarity are fine so I'm going to call it a good value for around $20 incl. shipping.

I've used several Bluetooth devices in recent years, and this one works as well as any I've had. I paid $20 for this headset, which is a comparatively good deal. I've paid significantly more for other headsets. I hope it lasts. I've had two Motorola headsets that didn't last a year.

First experience with bluetooth headset but so far so good. My only "complaints"...(1) people on the other end say they can hear too much ambient noise (like if the car heater is running on high) and (2) I sometmes find it difficult to turn off; it'll go to voice command mode. Otherwise it was easy to pair with my phone and start using. For $20, it's a great deal!

I've used several Bluetooth devices in recent years, and this one performs just as well as many of the higher priced ones out there. I was able to pick this up on special for $20, well worth the price. I've seen headsets in the $75-$100 range that did not perform as well as this one, so it's quite a steal if you can pick it up on sale. When it went out of stock, it was back in within a week and shipping quickly.

This is the second plantronics headset that I've purchased and I've been pleased with both of them. This particular headset is very easy to use (just a single button/toggle that adjusts volume and manages functions based on how long you hold the button down for) and the sound quality is good. It's a great standard and basic headset (though it would have been nice if it were cheaper). Buy.com certainly has other headsets for less (you're paying for the plantronics name here).

This is my third Bluetooth Headset since 2004 and believe me its true, those two lasted for 4 years. The first and the second were both same model of Motorola HS820. Although when first I bought in 2004 it was $90. Now this Plantronics Explorer 340 with its excellent quality for only $20 and does all the jobs what it meant to be made for. I use it with my iPhone and its very easy to set and pair with your phone. Fits perfectly to your ear, however it took me few hours to figure out that once you clip over your ear then you can twist it and push the rubber cap in ear, just like those in-ear headsets and this way it fits more comfortably and you can hear more clearly almost like noise canceling. The bottom line is, one of the best (if there are other at same price with same quality) Bluetooth Headset for your phone.

This is a great purchase for the price. Pairs flawlessly with my Asus P750. Connection drops at times but never during a call. Usage is damn easy. I like the rocker type of switch to handle call control, volume control and pairing, feels like a one button operation for everything. Overall, amazing buy considering the price and the brand.

I've had a few bluetooth headsets, and I really like this one. It is simple to use, easy to sync with my phone and works well. I like that the tones that it emits (for calls or re-sync) are not loud and annoying like some headsets. There are a few cons: If I have my phone in a pocket on the opposite side of my body, the call can get staticy. Also, I don't like how there is no warning when the bluetooth has lost it connection with the phone. I have had this happen a few times; A call will come in, the BT will have disconnected, but you don't realize it right away. It is a simple matter of pressing the button the headset to re-sync it, but it has caused a few missed calls. All in all a great device for the budget conscious or for those wanting to test out there first bluetooth headset.

This sound is clear with ample volume. It fits securely in the ear and stays in place. I have not experienced the discomfort issue that others have mentioned, but I usually don't leave it in my ear for long periods when I am not talking. The battery life is good, pairing is easy, and the control button is convenient. I have owned several bluetooth headsets and this one is an excellent value. One thing I would like to see in this (and many other electronic devices) is a move to a standardized AC connection, such as mini USB, rather than the many proprietary connections that only work with one or a small group of products.

This is my first bluetooth purchase and I am very satisfied with this product. It is comfortable on and in the ear. It has as much clarity as I have when using my cell phone directly and people don't even know I am using a bluetooth. It was easy to sync with my Samsung phone.

I bought this on a 'super special' with a great markdown and free shipping, but then found it for 5 dollars less at Costco. Still it is a good value and works just as good as one I bought for over $100 a few months ago.
