4 of 5 Nice Product Monday, September 24, 2007 Xee from St. Louis, MO
The headset is made up of weak materials that is easy to break. When recording, the voice is so clear and when dictating using the Dragon NaturallySpeaking software, the DSP gives a better accuracy than any other microphone. Its price is reasonable. I took a two years replacement warranty plus the one year provided by the Plantronics Co. for very cheap price that will guarantee keeping this headset for long. I recommend this DSP headsets for those who are using speech recognition softwares. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent product Tuesday, January 23, 2007 A Customer from Colorado
The sound quality is perfect. The headset is comfortable. I like the easy to operate 'mute' 'louder' 'quieter' options. Was this review helpful?

This headset lasted me 2 years so far, which I think is great considering I either break, lose, or throw away so many. Went through about 12-20 headsets since, and these are the only ones I've kept. The reason being is that they work, no drivers are necessary for XP (even thought it is USB), has a decent cable length (about 10 feet), and most importantly, is COMFORTABLE. I have a big head, wear about a 7.5 size baseball cap, and these are the only headsets that fit me (without spending over $100). Besides, the DSP makes sounds clear, and the range of sounds what you would expect with these size drivers. Mic works great, and have no issues functionally.
The only problem with these is the plastic headband construction, which I can see breaking on most people after a good yank on it the wrong way. The "height" of the headset gets adjusted easily, and is held in place with just notches...if somebody were to tug on it too hard, they would simply come out, and be in 2 pieces (they would slide back in easily of course, but it shouldn't be able to come out in the first place). Mine is still in 1 piece, but barely. Maybe its just from using it too much (my foam pads are comfy, but are almost worn off) but I am just about to buy another one to replace these. Thought it would be nice to write a review for it for all those people out there like me who keep buying headsets, and cant wear them for more than 30 mins at a time...to try these out.
