I had a Plantronics Discovery 645 for years. I started looking into "newer" Plantronics models, and was ready to get a new one, and decided against it, when I dropped mine out of the car when exiting. When I realized it, a car already ran it over and it was done. I bought the "newer" model, the Voyager 520, and although it was nice, I liked the ear piece on the 645 better. After a couple weeks, I decided I would go ahead and get another 645 and was surprised at the decline in price and was happy that they now changed the adapters for charging, to now include the Motorola adapter. (I think mine was made in 2003.) I am a happy camper again and would recommend this to EVERYONE. I've honestly thought about buying another just to have it as a backup because I love it that much, and you can't beat the price!!! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

I just bought my first ever bluetooth headset, and i must say i love this unit. it is easy to use, connect to the phone, and light. i thought i'll have to use the hook for the ear but so far i haven't used it and it didn't fell off my ear once. the volume is decent enough that i can drive on the highway (80mph with closed windows), and talk at the same time. the outgoing quality is excellent, no one can tell i'm on a headset. also, the unit is so light that sometime i forget that it is on my ear and i try to answer regular land lines phones with the same ear i have the headset on. All in all, i strongly recommend this model.

This bluetooth headset is a great value. The sound is good, though sometimes I have a hard time communicating voice commands when I am in the car and the AC is blowing or in a place with much background noise. It is VERY comfortable to wear and comes with three different size earpieces and an optional stabilizer which I always use for extra security. It is a bit more complicated to use than others I have had, but once I sat down and actually READ THE DIRECTIONS...I was fine. Also, there are three different ways you can charge it and the carrying case fits fine in my purse or briefcase. The battery charger is clutch for the car, and it makes it really nice to not have to have another plug in charging cord lying around. It has yet to drop a call and I think tha perhaps some of the communication issues are with my phone's abilities more so than the bluetooth device. I really like this device...so much so that my husband (a certified tech geek) is going to get one too...especially at this price, it is a great value.

I found the Plantronics 645 easy to use very comfortable and it fit snuggly into my ear. I have spent money on several top of the line bluetooths and this one was the best of them all.

This is super light and the additional over the ear loop adds needed security in case I accidently brush against the thing and knock it out of my ear. I don't think it would tolerate dropping at all. Volume is excellent. Louder than my previous Plantronics hardwire headset. I saw in 2 reviews a complaint about the earpiece not seating in the charger, but I found that there is actually a positive connection if you gently press down once inserting the earpiece into the charging tube. It's well designed so you can only insert the earpiece one way. Once contact is made there is no trouble charging. It's an excellent product for the money. The one touch auto redial feature is awesome.

Been through the Motorola, the Samsung and the Plantronics 640e. This is the ONE!!! Don't bother with the rest this one does it all. Voice Recognition, last number redial, and all without annoying background noise. The DSP really makes sure your caller can hear you. There is a slight delay when answering incoming calls that takes getting used to, but otherwise the Ultimate Bluetooth Unit!!

I've used this just a couple of weeks so far, but initial impressions of clarity and volume are very good. I've tried all 3 ear pieces but none seem to fit snugly in the ear. The headset stays there adequately, though, because it is so light. Its lightness makes it comfortable and bearable to wear for hours at a time. Still, I would like to have an ideal-fitting earpiece.

In my opinion this is the best headset for wireless phone money can buy. My old Plantronics 510 died recently (after two years) and I went through the number of the different headsets with no luck. This headset resolves the only issue I had with 510 - frequent disconnect. Sound quality is excellent. Battery life of 3 hours is not that bad considering all different power sources you can use to charge the device.

Best bluetooth headset yet. I've tried many different models over the years but this is the best bluetooth ever. It's very comfortable and fits right into the ear. The sound quality is top notch.
