5 of 5 Great headset/handset for home office Monday, April 27, 2009
Natasha from Houston, TX

I am very pleased with this product! I was a bit hesitant to get it because the price was more than I was comfortable with. But after more than a year of using my cordless phone for work in my home office, I was more than ready to upgrade to something more convenient. I was looking for something with the following: a handsfree headset, a mute button, a speakerphone, a VOIP function, The handsfree set was to be able to type and talk at the same time. The mute button was to mute the sounds from my baby while on the phone with clients :) The speakerphone was to be able to record conference calls. The VOIP function is because the garage apartment where I want to set up my home office doesn't have a phone line. I haven't yet tried the VOIP function because right now the garage apartment is being used for other purposes, but everything else is exactly as described by Plantronics and I am very happy with the system. The headset is very comfortable and light - I can wear it for hours and it doesn't hurt. the only complaint I have is that it is difficult to adjust the volume from the headset without disconnecting your call. But since the handset has the handy clip to attach to your belt, I just adjust the volume from there. The only other complaint I have is that when I forget to clip the handset to my belt and I start to walk while talking (I am a habitual pacer), it doesn't take long for the phone to become incredibly staticky. Otherwise, I am very happy with the purchase and have even come to terms with the price tag. The phone holds a charge for several days, and the charging base is compact and subtle. It also has a handy phonebook so that you don't have to keep dialing the same numbers. The handset's speaker feature has great volume, and I was able to use it the other day to put a web training on speaker when a coworker came over for us to take the training together. The sound was very clear and not garbled at all, no matter what volume we set it to.

5 of 5 Awesome! Sunday, April 19, 2009
Mark from Washington DC
Finally a home telephone that was meant to have a hands free headset! Awesome quality of calls and no cord to get caught on things. Speaker phone quality is good. I use this phone with Magic Jack...awesome quality! I will never use Vonage again!! Downside: the larger screen isn't work the small keys.

5 of 5 Great phone for home office Thursday, April 09, 2009
George from Jackson, NJ
This phone has good sound quality. I haven't received any complaints from anyone on how I sound when using the headset. Both the clip on unit and headset are extremely light weight and very comfortable. Very easy to setup.

4 of 5 Very nice unit for home office... Sunday, April 05, 2009
A Customer from Alexandria, KY
Nice unit and the ability to use 1 headset for both the office phone and cell phone is fantastic. It works as advertised and was a snap to setup. I've tried many bluetooth headsets before and this is the first one that really delivered.

5 of 5 Nice phone set Saturday, January 10, 2009
Eva from Bastrop, TX
Even though the price is a bit high, it is a great phone set. It is easy to use and the blue tooth headset works with our cell phones also. Plantronics makes very high quality products. The only down side is that you have to have the hand set close to the blue tooth or you get a lot of static. The clip on the handset could also be improved by making it latch on more securly, but overall I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it.

4 of 5 Perfect phone for the 'wanderer' Friday, December 19, 2008
Aaron Anderson from Arlington, Texas
This is a great phone for the person that wants to multi task. The reception is outstanding, the sound is crystal clear, the Bluetooth headset works flawlessly, and installation/hook up is a breeze. It's outstanding as an Internet phone with Skype. Using a single phone for both a land line and Internet VoIP line makes calling easy to manage. The phone book features and software that synchronizes with common address books makes maintaining a single address book easy. Highly recommended!

5 of 5 Just What I Was Looking For Thursday, October 02, 2008
dana8192 from Philadelphia, PA
This product is exactly what I was looking for, a complete phone that I could simply plug into my home line and access using a wireless headset. I'm surprised, with the proliferation of BlueTooth headsets that there are not more (and less expensive) home/home office oriented products with the ability to work with them. -- Most of the other solutions I found were add-ons to existing (office type) telephone systems. -- I have used wired headsets for years, snagging the wire on doorknobs, yanking the headset out of my ear, etc, until this product came along. -- The buttons are pretty small, but that is the tradeoff for having a large display and a small handset. My issue with the buttons is that they are not very readable except in really bright light (so the button backlight is overwhelmed) or in really dim light (when the button backlight is the only source). It seems that when both the button backlight and the printing on the buttons are visible I have trouble reading them. -- The sound quality is excellent using either the headset, handset or speaker. -- I've also used the headset with my cell phone and that works fine but not the reason I purchased this product. -- I like that the Phone Book has slots for three numbers per name so I can have one entry for Joe and then select Home or Cell instead of having separate entries for Joe Home and Joe Cell. -- Note that the 300 ft distance is for the handset to base, the wireless headset to handset range is about 30 ft which is typical for BlueTooth. The intent is that you will clip the handset to your belt if you plan to wander very far. I can leave the handset in the base and go into the next room with no issue but going much further it works much better if I take the handset with me. Not an issue since the handset is so small and the key feature for me is that there is no wire from the handset to the headset. -- My only 'complaint' is that the Call Log only lists the number and the time of the call, it does not include the Caller ID information. So I keep a separate Caller ID box to refer to that information when I need it. -- Overall I am very happy with this phone.

4 of 5 Crystal clear sound. Sunday, September 07, 2008
steeling from Brookfield, CT
The speakers deliver crystal clear sound. I placed my speakers down at the pool which is well over a hundred feet from the base and experienced no loss of signal. The only drawback with the speakers is that they have sub par subwoofers, so your not going to get good deep resonating bass tones. I supplemented my two EOS speakers with two Element speakers which have better subwoofers.

5 of 5 Awesome phone set Monday, August 18, 2008
Grant from Rocklin, CA
Plantronics is incredible. The phone works great, headset is clear as a landline, and works perfectly with my blackberry on the road. Highly recommended for the home office user. The buttons on the handset are on the smaller side, but tolerable and haven't given me any major issues to write about. I mention that because I had to search for a "con", if you even call it that. Enjoy!

4 of 5 Calisto Pro Series Phone Saturday, July 19, 2008
A Customer from Burbank, CA
I want to use this in my shop and have tried, but because I am a techno phobe (I hate new technology) I have little patience for learning to use it. My fingers are very large so the buttons are much too small for ease of use. I am now using a pencil eraser end and that makes things a bit easier (May also try a stylus). Once I get the hang of it, the phone will be fine and will give me the mobility I need.
