4 of 5 Headset Sunday, August 24, 2008 A Customer from Yuba City, CA
Bought for my children for on-line video playing. Working well until, unfortunately, screw fell out of one of the headsets after 2 weeks and doesn't quite work as well now as the ear piece keeps falling off. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Nice headset for the money Monday, August 18, 2008 Bob B from Wellington, Florida
This is a nice headset for the price. Good sound quality and fairly comfortable to wear. Great deal even if you just want to listen to your music player BUT they are not Bose quality! Buyers should realize it is for the XBox, not the XBox 360 and it is not a wireless headset. A good sounding headset for $10 is definitely a good bargain. Was this review helpful?

You get what you pay for... sometimes. I've had these about 3 weeks. They perform relatively well, but durability is severely lacking. The cheap plastic height adjustors have broken on both sides of mine, meaning that they fall down below my ears every time I move my head.
Get these if you need a cheap replacement while you look for a decent headset, but don't expect them to last long. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Good Sound Quality.... Poorly Build Friday, August 08, 2008 kah00na from Topeka, KS
[[[ PROS ]]] This is the best cheap set of headphones I've ever bought. They fit comfortably on my head with the padding around the ears and and top of the head. The inside of the headphones is red... doesn't do anything but it looks cool.
[[[ CONS ]]] When you first open the package, you immediately notice that they are kind of bulky. They aren't going to stay on your head if you run, maybe not even if you walk. My microphone was detached from my headset. There is a screw that is almost impossible to get to without removing an ear piece. I taped it up to keep it out of the way. The cable is plenty long.
[[[ WORST ]]] The worst thing about this headset is that you will have to adjust it every time you use it. The headpieces slide down so unless your head is as big as a large watermelon, get use to adjusting. Take the headset off to answer the phone and when you put them back on, you will have to adjust again. What a pain. I can live with this for the price though. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 They fit the Masterchief's Head Wednesday, July 23, 2008 A Customer from Carteret, NJ
They are cool if you're a halo fan. But they are massive. I won't be wearing them outside of my home. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 -- Not so great Tuesday, July 22, 2008 A Customer from Utah
Pros: the sound seems decent, they include a boom mic, and the cord is long.
Cons: cheap plastic feel, small and poor-fitting earphones. Due to the plastic construction, if they don't fit well out of the box for you, then you pretty much just have to live with that. I tried bending them to fit better, and they did twist a little, but of course, it's just plastic. I was afraid they'd snap. I have average-sized (i.e., not large) ears that don't stick out, and the headphones themselves don't completely fit over them--but *almost*. That also makes them feel uncomfortable. There's no way to get a more snug fit, which sort of ruins the noise cancellation effect.
I can let my kids use them without too much concern that they'll destroy them faster than the $5 cheapies I bought at the drugstore.
You get what you pay for; I say pass on these and spend a little more for a higher-quality set. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great headset, great price! Monday, July 21, 2008 A Customer from Atlanta, Georgia
These are plantronics headsets with halo branding. They are fantastic, and the sound (input and putput) is fantastic, clean and true. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Do Not Fit Right Sunday, July 20, 2008 A Customer from Taylors, SC
The headset itself does not fit ergonomically to the head. The back of the headsets do not fit tightly and leave an open gap. You have to have a really fat head in order for this head set to fit you. Most headsets fits universally but not these. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 good sound and mic quality, but mic boom broke in Sunday, July 20, 2008 Mag from Brooklyn, NY
Same review as what a few other people wrote. The microphone boom broke in less than a week. Now it's stuck in the down position permanently. Still works, but I was frustrated that it broke so fast. I paid a total of $0.88 for it from google checkout, so who am i to complain. On the good note, the audio quality was better than my previous headphone, and people told me that the mic quality on the other end seems to be better than my old one. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good Stuff Sunday, July 20, 2008 A Customer from Philadelphia
This is perhaps the best noise cancellation headfones in terms of value for money..
Its not as expensive as the logitech.. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Clear sound, good microphone Sunday, July 20, 2008 Aaron S from Washington DC
The headphones reproduce clear sound with good definition and bass and details. The microphone may "fuzz" out occasionally if you speak too softly, or if it's too far away -- it'll treat softer sounds as background noise which it tries to filter out. This is not common, and in general it's been working just fine.
The fit can feel a little heavy....but the headset is well-cushioned and clearly designed for usable comfort. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great Deal Sunday, July 20, 2008 A Customer from Plumouth, MA
We have had a number of head sets over the last few years. This one worked right away out of the box. Fit my sons head no problem and only cost 10 bucks. This was a deal that will never be beat! Was this review helpful?

4 of 5 Nice headset Saturday, July 19, 2008 A Customer from ohio
Got this for $10 and it works great. I have an audio 510 and the headset is identical except for the green color and not being a usb hookup. Allthough the sound is great, it tends to get a little uncomfortable after long gaming session. Halo Rox! Was this review helpful?

The Shipping took 1 week over they said max shipping would be.
my kids love it!
My Sons have clamed it as thier own. and they seem to love it. They use us on the PC, Xbox, PSP. For the price I paid for it, it is well worth the money. It is a very good headset for gamimg and using skype or any online telephone.
When using this headset for gaming it helps you totally become involved in the game, The outside world is totally disconnected and game play is greatly enhanced. This is a definite BUY. Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 Decent Headset Saturday, July 19, 2008 A Customer from Taylors, SC
Good headset for the $. Not ergonomic to the head though. Does not fit to the head with the right curvature. Although they may fit someone else better. Overall good value. Have not tried the mic yet but I really like how the mic boom flips up neatly out of the way when not in use. The sound is medium quality....not huge but also not weak either. Bass is decent enough. I would not buy these again only because of the fit problem. I like a headset that fits snug and seals around my ears. These do not. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good for the price Saturday, July 19, 2008 A Customer from Commack, NY
It is very good for the price. I am very satisfied with the quality. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 This headset is low quality Friday, July 18, 2008 A Customer from Las Vegas, Nevada
I owned many plantronics headsets in the past 8 years. Most of them lasted about 1 to 2 years, which is okay since I used them frequently and only paid around $20 for each headset.
After using this headset for a few days, I must say this headset is not worth because the green plastic used to make it is cheap. The microphone wand would not stay in the upright position like my other plantronics headsets. It popped out of socket on the first day. On the third day, the joint which connects the microphone wand to the headphone completely broke (the plastic joint just cracked). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A product worth the price - value for money Thursday, July 17, 2008 A Customer from ...
The bass is really good. And even the quality and clarity of the mic is good
Overall a good deal and value for money product.
I got it mainly for use with Gtalk, skype and voip apps,
so the purpose is voice chat - this product serves the purpose.
A few cons - the ear cups tend to slide down, overall a good product.

2 of 5 Broken Wednesday, July 16, 2008 John from Spokane, WA
Item arrived broken in a way that was not due to delivery. What more can I say? Microphone boom broken and not usable. Had to tape it up to the headphone mast. Gave it to my 5 yr old to use with his stuff. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 The Good(everythingelse) & The Bad(mic durability) Wednesday, July 16, 2008 TitanAE2024@aol.com from Texas
I have had this type of headphone for about 4 years now. I play Counter Strike: Source and use a number of voice communication programs for other games. This has a excellent quality mic and amazing 5.1 simulated surround sound with descent bass to boot. I bought 2 of these when they were on sale. The only reason I buy them as such is the headphones are very durable but, due to my setup the mic often breaks. I have my comp setup on the foor and I often accidentally sit on them sometimes the mic continues to work flawlessly but must be taped back into position :p. 1 pair lasted me about 3 years and I'm currently at about 2 1/2 for the 2nd the 2 of these I bought should last me for a while. My final comment is the comfort, I wore these for about 16 hrs straight one time didn't even realize it. The comfort kept my ears(in particular) and head from hurting during this time period the perfect headphones in my opinion becuase of the hardcore gaming that I do. Though the mic could be more durable i'm not complaining based on the average longevity. Overall Awesome headphones, quality sound, and medium durability. A perfect buy for my arsenal of Sound. 5 of 5 Can't beat it for the price Wednesday, July 16, 2008 Matt from Waterloo, Iowa
Even for $20 after shipping these are a great deal. The sound quality is very good for a headset in this price range. The microphone sounds good as well, people I talk to online said it was much clearer than my old mic. Only caution is durability, I don't think these would hold up to a lot of abuse, but they seem sturdy enough and if you can take care of your things they should last a long time. I personally find them to be quite comfortable, I can wear them for many hours at a time with no discomfort. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 good price, bad sound Wednesday, July 16, 2008 A Customer from Austin, TX
the sound effect is just so so. However, the price is really great Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Not bad, not great Wednesday, July 16, 2008 A Customer from Chicago, IL
I picked these headphones up when they were on sale because they seemed like a great deal. The headphones are made entirely of plastic and you can tell when you wear them. The ear cushions are big and soft however they are made of that vinyl-like, fake leather material and as a result they don't allow your skin to breathe, which means they get all sweaty after about an hour. The sound is good and the mic is excellent. It's too bad the good speakers and mic are surrounded by cheap plastic and ear foam. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Cheapness all over Wednesday, July 16, 2008 A Customer from Fremont, CA
I bought two of them. Mic stick on one was broken I have work with buy.com separately on them.
The mic stick is so cheesy that it does not stay at one place.
Audio quality is okay. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Superb Sound Quality... Wednesday, July 16, 2008 deepeshmd@gmail.com from Duluth, Georgia
The Head phone has got superb Sound quality, and Bass. The Sound comes very rich, and with a good Bass response.
I gave a 4 for the value because, the Screw of the Boom Microphone came out, and there's no way to fix it. Similarly, the headphone plastic seems Not so Sturdy.
But Still Otherwise, the Headphone Sounds GREAT... and worth the money. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 A+ Wednesday, July 16, 2008 A Customer from x,x

1 of 5 Was Broken Wednesday, July 16, 2008 A Customer from Kernersville, NC
When I received my headphones they were broken, I guess the QuickAdjust telescoping bendable boom is what is broken. It won't stay in place. The quality of them is not very good. So if you are thinking about new headphones, I would not buy these. Was this review helpful?
