1 of 5 Not portable XM Tuesday, April 22, 2008 A Customer from Seattle, WA
The reception is very poor. The cut outs when driving your XM-equipped car under trees or round the north side of any obstacle high enough to obstruct the signal are merely annoying. If you are walking or stationary about the obstructions then you have to resort to the built in MP3 player, which is not very good. I will buy an MP3 player and listen to XM in my car, or at home on the internet. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Good potential but complicated and flimsy Wednesday, June 14, 2006 Avi from Northern NJ
This new XM radio device has great potential and is promoted as being all things to all people. However, I have had to return two of them. They seem flimsy. The power button gets stuck and does not work well. The battery gets hot and can only hold a charge for 45 minutes. Even though it was partly cloudy, the signal would cut out from time to time unexplainably. Also, because it does so many things you need to devote hours to study the manual and figure out how to work it all. I will stick to my Ipod device for MP3. Was this review helpful?
