    I've had this drive since Christmas and it has not let me down once. The drive installed without a problem and has performed without a hitch. A previous reviewer had problems with the drive not fitting right but there were no problems with it on my computer. I've only used blank TDK discs and not one coaster. The price was right and the shipping was very fast.

    I am very satisfied using this DVD writer. It is fast, burns reliably (no coasters yet), and rips CD/DVD discs quickly too. I also have a Memorex 16x DVD writer and the Pioneer is much better. An example is the Memorex only recognizes some of the 16x blank DVD-R discs where I haven't had a brand yet that the Pioneer isn't ready to burn. The only complaint I had was the size of the tray. The entire width and top edge of the Pioneer drive is on the tray. I had to trim the cover of my case to allow the tray to eject.
