Have used both Pinnacle Studio 9 and 10 in years past. Studio 11 is not much different except for its ability to manage HD video. I do wish that Pinnacle would bundle all the extras in one package instead of offering every option as an extra cost feature. Fortunately you do not need the extra to make a quality film. You will need a large HD ( Recommend a min. of 500 gb.). The program itself uses lots of HD space plus downloading digital film requires an additional 13 gb per hour of film and even more when it is edited. Having said that Pinnacle is still the best that is currently available for film editing. Was this review helpful?

Eventhough I was utterly disappointed in my initial experience with the previous version, I decided to give this one a shot. Glad I did! Pinnacle is back and has delivered my best editing experience so far. Took 3 mins to boot on the old Studio, now I can actually start on my projects after 20 secs. This is a great product and does everything I need it to do, just much faster. Still learning all the new stuff, but the basics are the same. Studio is back and works from the get go. Nice.
