Switch works great at 480p, but is totally unwatchable at 1080i because the picture goes black constantly. It's worse than the Radio Crap model I bought that had the same problem. Connecting directly to my HDTV works fine, so it isn't the cables. Time to plop down some big bucks for a real quality switch. Was this review helpful?

When I inserted this switch between my Direct TV HD DVR and my Sony HDTV, the picture would keep dropping out and the top of the picture was horizontally shifted. Reconnect directly and the problem goes away. I will upgrade my cables, but I'm not hopeful. The automatic switching works great. Was this review helpful?
