4 of 5 M impressed!!!!! Sunday, December 14, 2008 Mahikshit from Lafayette,LA.
I was bit confused while ordering this one. The product arrived before the delivery time and was packed properly. I wanted to use this product for myself, but when my cousin used it once, he thought to keep them. The sound quality is far better than any other pairs which you can buy for the same price. The bass and treble response is excellent and I checked it in my noise laboratory and got the impressive results. I can say that they are the cheapest and holds the best value for money. They work best for my laptop than my i-pod. The only thing I don't like about this product is, the noise canceling amplifier is still bulky and attracts everyones attention. I required to hide it under my shirt, and the noise cancellation is not up to the mark. some times the ear buds fall off from my ears.
At last i had gifted it, and going to order one more pair. Anyone who want to buy a set of noise canceling headphones, I would certainly recommend this one. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Hide them - Quick! Wednesday, November 12, 2008 DMAC from Wyandotte, MI
This is my 3rd set of noise canceling earbuds. My teenagers have discovered noise canceling ear buds are preferable to iPod earbuds. So far these are the best. Value priced for medium-high sound performance.
Comes with a carrying case - a must for mobile types (great on airplanes) - and different size ear plugs. I won't buy any earbud without a choice of plug sizes. Comfort = satisfaction.
You must tether these around your neck to wear them correctly. Also, the materials appear stronger then my other pairs. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Better than expected Thursday, August 14, 2008 A Customer from Riverside, IL
I normally have trouble getting earbuds to stay in place. But this solved the problem by extending the earbuds from a lanyard that goes around your neck, thus eliminating any tugging on the earpiece. This is a nice feature that's even mentioned in the description. Otherwise good general quality. Noise cancellation and sound quality are good for the price. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Shhhhh Listening to music Thursday, December 21, 2006 A Customer from Ontario
These earphones have out performed many other earphones in there price range noise cancelling or not. I found them very comfortable and easy to use. I must have wired ears becuase I have a large size in one ear and a medium size in the other. But once that was done they were great. I work out 5 days a week and cycle 15km 7 days a week and have had no problems with them. I was worried that they were not water/sweat proof but they are and for the price they do the trick great. I recently purchased these headphones for a business trip. I used them on the flight, and I've used them in the office now for a few days. They aren't as effective as the headphones that I've tried a few places that completely cover your ears: people having conversations around you will still be audible. However, if your goal to be able to listen to your music without turning the volume up to the point where you're damaging your hearing, these babies work great! They cut the background noise by a noticable amount, even in a relatively quiet room, and I rarely have to turn the volume on my iPod up more than halfway now, even on the bus. I used to have to listen at more than 3/4 volume on the bus, and now I listen at about 1/4 of full volume.
You can't beat the value for the price. Was this review helpful?

I have owned a pair of these for about three months, and have since stopped using them. They have decent sound quality, and do have some noise cancelling capability, but their performance is no where near exceptional. For the price paid, their performance met my expectations.
The major problem I have had with these is that they are very uncomfortable to use. They earpieces have plastic "rings" that settle in your ear; these rings are very uncomforable when moved. They are almost impossible to wear when working or walking with an mp3 player. Avoid these and go for another brand. I'm considering whether to pick up a pair of Sony Fontopias next, or to bite the bullet and shell out the money for a pair of Shure ec3's. Was this review helpful?

These compact noise-cancelling earphones really take the dudgery out of those long plane rides. We recently traveled from NY to Senegal round-trip and the Phillips HN060's provided a major reduction in engine drone and resulting fatigue. There is some noise reduction even when off since they plug your ear, but when the electronic circuitry is turned on the effect is very dramatic. At first I wasn't sure I'd like the in-the-canal fit but they're not bad at all. I comfortably listened to over 6 hours of smooth jazz .wma music files non-stop each way.
I've used other low cost NC 'phones and the Phillips HN060's beat them all. Highly recommended for their compact size, effective noise-cancellation, and solid overall sound quality with deep bass and undistorted highs. Was this review helpful?
