3 of 5 Good Product, Poor Customer Service Monday, December 10, 2007
    K. Nick Utley from Cocoa, FL

I have purchased several frames in the 7FF line. They are good performers for the most part. I just ordered this frame from Buy.com with the rebate a few weeks back. Upon arrival, I tried to load it and it froze. I called Philips tech support and we were not able to revive it from the white screen of death. Tech support indicated that they would immediately send a replacement out. I received the replacement several days later and to my surprise it was a refurb. I contacted Philips to express my displeasure with getting a refurb as the replacement. This is supposed to be a gift and I am not giving someone a frame that has the serial numbers scratched out with a red pen and a big refurb sticker on the back. I was told that this was standard operating procedure and I could not get a new replacement for my faulty brand new frame. I sent the refurb back to Philips on my dime and I will be returning the new faulty frame to Buy.com. Unfortunately they no longer carry this model, so I will go to a different frame/manufacturer. Good frame, poor customer support.

5 of 5 Crisp clean beautiful photo frame Monday, December 10, 2007
    etimmy from Fort Collins, CO
I have really enjoyed this frame. It has given us the opportunity to see lots of photos and remember fun times without having to go through the drudgery of pulling out the albums or digging into our my pictures folder on the computer. The only downside to the frame is the software on the computer. It is alright but it isn't anything special. Just a little less intuitive than I had hoped. Value is a 5/5 when I bought it for $129 with a $30 rebate. $150 for a 7" might be a bit steep.

5 of 5 High Quality Picture, Nice Features Monday, December 03, 2007
    A Customer from Nutley, NJ
Having already returned 2 other photoviewers to retail stores(1 for poor picture quality, 1 for difficult to use), I decided to try this Phillips viewer based on the recommendations of Buy.com buyers. I was not disappointed. The picture quality is excellent, there is no glare, the colors are vibrant, and the pictures are sharp and crisp. I bought this for my parents and it is perfect for them. The viewer works both on A/C and also has a rechargeable battery so you can disconnect the viewer and pass it around for photo viewing. It comes with a heavy weighted stand which screws into the back. It makes the viewer very sturdy when standing alone, and you can also use it as a handle. I loaded the resident memory with a permanent collection of pics, and then use the memory card slots for viewing new photos. You can take the card out of your camera and put it right in the viewer. You can also load via usb cable connected to PC. I set up the timer so the viewer comes on and shuts off automatically. I also set it so that slide show runs, and you can adjust the length of time the pictures are displayed. There is no remote, and it took awhile to learn how to change settings using buttons on the back of the viewer. The unit itself is nicely made. It has a real wood veneer, and the stand, which looks like white plastic in the picture, is actually a silver tone metal. It goes very well in a traditional style living room with wood furniture. This was a good value for me because it was on sale and had a rebate, so I got it for about $100. It would be nice if the viewer also played music files, but I was willing to forego that for the awesome picture quality.

    5 of 5 Superb display! Friday, November 30, 2007
A Customer from Los Gatos, CA
This product has captivated my family. I've taken a decade of digital photographs (nearly 10,000) - selected my favorite 3,200 or so, and put them on an inexpensive 1GB SD card. I used Adobe Lightroom to organize and export all the pictures at the native resolution for the PhotoFrame (720x536), and so far 3,200 pictures only take up 700Mb of my SD card. I'm giving pre-populated PhotoFrames as presents to distant relatives who can let play for hours without seeing a repeat. Great product.

    5 of 5 great frame Wednesday, November 28, 2007
A Customer from Ann Arbor, MI
This frame looks great on our table. Its a little pricey, but if you read comments of other frames, you might see things about weird hissing noises and other irritating issues, but this frame is rock solid, quiet and looks stylish. The metal stand up thing is really heavy too so it isnt easy to knock over, which my 16mo old always tries to do.

5 of 5 Hi quality, Hi definition. User Friendly. Wednesday, June 13, 2007
    jrm from Tempe, AZ
This Philips electronic photo frame delivers a beautiful hi definition picture. It's easy to load photos. It's intuitive to program. The display is plenty bright for a room with windows that bring in daylight. It has an automatic shutoff feature so you can program it to go off at night. And, it is well built and heavy enough to stay where you place it.

    5 of 5 Very Nice Wednesday, April 25, 2007
    A Customer from Roundtown, OH
This digital frame is excellent. The image quality is very good, the higher is much better then frames in $100 range. You can adjust slide show mode from 5,10~15,~30 seconds, 1, 5, 30 minutes frequency change for photos. Timer settings for automatic turn on/off. Built in rechargeable batteries is a nice touch. The packaging Philips use is awesome, easy to take out, setup then repackage to ship as a gift. I would recommend this frame to friends and family with out hesitation.
