| | The Pharos Traveler GPS 525 is a full-featured GPS navigation tool wrapped up in one very small attractive device. Because of its small size, the Pharos Traveler is portable and can easily be transferred from your personal vehicle to your family or rental vehicle. The built-in battery allows for use in pedestrian mode when navigating cities in a cab, bus, or on foot. The device’s highly sensitive GPS receiver ensures you’ll be able to get a position fix almost anywhere.
In addition, the Pharos Traveler combines in-car GPS navigation with Microsoft® Windows Mobile™ applications like Pocket Outlook, Windows Media® Player and Internet Explorer. This time-saving Pocket GPS device will seamlessly sync with your Outlook database of contacts so you can navigate directly to them without having to enter them one at a time. The Pharos Traveler will guide you along the way with voice-prompted, turn-by-turn instructions, and will give you the choice of taking the highway or the back roads.
The Pharos Traveler also has integrated WiFi and Bluetooth technology, making it easier than ever to send e-mail, access the Internet, and look up Points of Interest locations. The built-in WiFi capability means you can make free PC-to-PC phone calls using Skype VoIP.
