| | | Play online or offline as one of the 'gifted ones'. The single player story unfolds as you try to unlock the mystery of human kind near-destruction. Set in a post-apocalyptic time, you leave the safety of the underground to explore the surface with your supernatural abilities. Unfortunately, the surface is now filled with creatures that are the embodiment of people's worst thoughts and nightmares. You must also deal with a surface that is surrounded by mysterious particles called Phantom Dust. Perfect controls and breathtaking visuals aside, the localization here is also superb (Majesco grabbed this one post Microsoft polishing every nook and cranny), and the music is, in a word, euphoric.

I can't believe that Phantom Dust retails for only twenty bucks. Considering all it packs in and the workout your brain and fingers get, this is one of the best values in gaming this year, hands down.

With sharp, bright visuals, a ton of multiplayer features and a large number of skills that you can acquire, this could be the next big Pokemon Ð a grown up, apocalyptic Pokemon, but one that teens will probably gravitate towards as they get too old for Pikachu and his brethren.
