5 of 5 Perfect application for Bluetooth Sunday, March 18, 2007 A Customer from Monrovia, CA
The Parrot EasyDrive is the perfect solution for anyone who hates having to connect-up a hands-free set before driving and disconnecting it after parking. My wife can now leave her Palm Treo in her purse. When she gets in the car, the Treo hooks up with the EasyDrive. She can pickup incoming calls or voice dial outgoing calls without ever touching the phone. When she gets out of the car, she grabs her purse and the connection is broken.
Good sound quality, both over the air and in person. Language selection is a bit annoying. Synthesized voice-prompts are sometimes difficult to understand, but not bad.
Watch out for BUY.COM shipping, however. They won't guarantee overnight delivery, even if it ships same day and UPS loses it for 2 extra days. Read the fine print on their shipping policies. Was this review helpful?

I purchased for use with a Sprint Treo 650. Even though the Treo isn't listed on their website as a supported device, it works well. It took a little playing with to get going as the documentation is poor and the online forum for support doesn't appear to be staffed. But the interface is simple enough to figure out (the hardest part was realizing I could send a contact to it via bluetooth from the Treo). Voice recognition for calling contacts works well, audio quality is good even in my fairly loud truck. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Okay, but not great Tuesday, September 19, 2006 A Customer from Des Moines, Iowa
Thoughts: I've used the Parrot EasyDrive daily for the past two weeks, and I'm somewhat underwhelmed by its performance. I use it with a Motorola V3 Razr. The mic tends to pick up a lot of road noise, to the point of washing out my voice even when I hold the mic close by. Speaker sound quality isn't as good as I'd hoped it would be with the larger speaker that Parrot provides. Bluetooth setup and operation has been at least as easy and reliable as any other BT device I've used. Voice commands work reasonably well for me, but I have a midwestern USA accent and a baritone voice.
Comparison performance: probably better than my other device, a Motorola HF820.
Bottom line: I'm still looking for a better product. Was this review helpful?

I don't know if they could made this much more straight forward. In about 2 minutes you are up and running and it just works. I use a TREO 700w and the two go great together. I can't use some of the advanced features of the unit, but when dialing i prefer to use my
treo anyway.
The sound quality is excellent and the range every bit as advertised. The size is small and compact without compromising sound quality. it has exceeded my expectations. it is the first bluetooth device that works the way bluetooth is advertised. Was this review helpful?
