I bought this item to mount my Garmin StreetPilot 7200 GPS unit in my SUV and it worked perfectly! I couldn't be more pleased. All you have to do it mount it to the back of the cradle unit of the GPS with 4 screws. The holes will line up for you making it very easy to do. Works much better than the dashboard mount that comes with the GPS.
Be aware the this works for the Garmin StreetPilot 7200 unit, but will probably not work on other units that have a different bolt pattern on the back of the GPS cradle.
