This phone is perfect for a small business.When I'm in the field working and a customer leaves a message the phone calls my cell phone and hangs up.Then I call the office and access the machine listen to the customer get there number and call right back (est. time 2 min.)In 15 years with a similar system I've pleased many customers ! I can't believe it! My very expensive $2400 phone system went down after 2 years and left me and my flower business without phones for 2 days. I tried the RCA multi line phone system and that didn't work for me either. I ordered the Panasonic 4-Line system with associated cordless phone. It did EVERYTHIING I need to have a phone system do. I ordered an additional cordless and now I have enough phones that work independently that completely fill my telephone needs in my busy flower shop, plus at a very good price. Although this is touted as a business system you will love it for home use, too - especially if you have chatty teenagers! I bought the first generation of this phone system over 6 years ago and could not wait to move to the second generation of this product which improved an order of magnitude over the first one. The feature you'll love the most is the auto-attendant that routes incoming calls to the right extension. I am sorry, but I just hate to play receptionist for everybody in the home when most calls are not for me anyway. Oh, and did I mention no more telemarketers? They just seem to melt away when confronted by the auto-attendant. Individual units all have their own voicemail with flashing indicator light and the reception and battery quality/rechargeability are flawless (will not interfere with signal of your wireless computer network). The price is a little steep but well worth it. And Buy.com rocks! Best service, best prices - what's not to like! Was this review helpful?
