I bought this for my completely electronically challenged Mom. (Gosh, I love her, but she doesn't know what a "DCD" is) I had to help her set it up over the phone. (It actually took me 56 min over the phone. She kept trying to put the battery in where you put in the DVD. It wouldn't fit, they must have sent me the wrong battery, the damn battery door won't close....) I could ramble on, but I think you get the picture. I managed to guide her through and SHE LOVES IT. She keeps saying how easy it is to use and how beautiful the picture is. (This was also confirmed by other tech savy people). Mom thinks it was tricky of them to put the volume buttons on the side. I know this isn't the best review, but I felt compelled to to encourage the electronically challenged. And are you kidding, NO, she doesn't use the remote? Was this review helpful?

We highly recommend this product. After borrowing this unit from a friend for a long car trip, we decided to buy one for ourselves. What an investment! The sound, picture & battery life (best around) are great. We do wish it had a remote as our son would turn it off which would require some flexibility to turn it back on. We used it on a plane trip as well. We would have preferred using headphones, but opted for closed captions. Very good product! Was this review helpful?
