| | | Extended Talk Time and Reduce Interference
Panasonic introduces the latest in innovative solutions with its new line of low interference DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Communications) 6.0 cordless telephones systems. The major benefits of this new line of DECT phones include up to 17 hours of talk time, substantial handset expandability, and markedly reduced interference.
What are the benefits of Panasonic DECT 6.0 Phones?
Engineered to work in the 1.9 GHz frequency range, these phones will not conflict with other wireless devices such as 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi computer routers, wireless keyboards and mousse, microwave ovens, and other common household devices. And because it’s digital, DECT 6.0 technology also provides long ranges, excellent clarity, and helps deter eavesdropping.
Multiple voice paths are used to enable the entire series to provide up to 3-way conferencing, this allows for multiple handsets to be used at the same time and up to 2 handsets can join into a conversation with one outside caller. They also provide for Intercom between handsets and Phonebook Sharing.
Additionally, these systems are extremely comfortable and easy to use, with the handsets featuring large keypads buttons that are almost twice the size of standard phone keypad buttons, and are designed top fit comfortably in both your hand as well as cradled on your neck. all models in the DECT 6.0 line include a base station-integrated digital answering machine with voice menu, digital handset speakerphones, handsets with a clock on the LCD with alarm function, three-line backlit LCD, and incoming call indicator lights.

5 of 5 great Friday, January 23, 2009 A Customer from OK
It's a great set of cordless phone/answer machine system. Simple and light. Comparing to my previous Panasonic model, this new one does not display the number of messages recorded. Was this review helpful?

We had Panasonic system before and still have 2 handsets and the answering machine but since we misplaced the handsets frequently, I picked up another system. It is just as good as the first and I can find the silver handsets easier than the previous black ones. Good sound both speaking and hearing. If you don't know all of the features (there are many), read the manual. It will save you frustration. I highly recommend this system especially at the price ($85). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Tuesday, December 30, 2008 A Customer from Topeka, KS
The phone has lots of great functions, including intercom, exchanging data between phones, three way conversation. One downside of the phone is that it doesn't have a speed dial. Instead, you need to use phone book which contains all the phone numbers. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Panasonic is always best Tuesday, December 30, 2008 Abu Mazin from Dallas, Texas
It had all the features I was looking for, the phone is sleak, good sound quality and its cheaper. The only con is it does not have Talking Caller ID which I had in my previous phone, but I can leave without it. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great Phones Monday, December 29, 2008 Truman from GA
I purchased one set of these phones for my home this past fall and it is wonderful. Clear sound and I can even go to the mailbox and continue to have perfect reception. I purchased 2 more sets for my children and they have stated that they love these phones as well. You can't go wrong with Panasonic. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Quite satisfied Saturday, November 01, 2008 A Customer from Pt. Roberts Wa
Units set up easily. Said that they had longer range than the 2.1 GIG version but one of my phones drops calls when it is only 30 feet from the base so don't know if this is a defect only in one of the 4 phones. Otherwise performs well. Price was about half of what I would have paid in Costco. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Buy TWO sets. They handle up to 6 handsets Monday, October 06, 2008 Dave R. from Marietta, GA
WOW! Super set. I have had for over a year. Great sound quality, light, uses standard rechargable batteries!!, nice keyboard, excellent answering machine, multiple ring tones, great intercom, and on and on.
Cons: no backlighting and the menu takes a little learning curve. But PLEASE don't let this distract from this awesome set. It is definately worth the price.
And BUY TWO SETS. You can program up to six handsets in the system. If you buy 2 sets of 4, you have some backup handsets if needed.
We only have to worry about ONE phone jack in the entire house because of this set (nice for DSL compatibility). And have NEVER had interference or "overtalk" from other houses, systems. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good product Saturday, June 21, 2008 Brian from Blair, NE
Phones were easy to set up and great value for the price. We have used them for several months without any problems. I would recommend this product. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Excellent Phone/Answering Machine, Excellent Price Monday, April 28, 2008 Ed from Staatsburg, NY
I bought the Panasonic KX-TG1034S because it is highly rated by Consumer Reports. It uses the 1.9GHz frequency band and not the overly crowded 5.8Ghz resulting in a clearer signal, better voice quality, and less [so far read that as no] interference, and the base is sitting next to a wireless network, laptop with a wireless mouse, and a desktop with a wireless mouse and wireless keyboard. It has an excellent range and the features, (my favorite being the handset speakerphone), are short of perfect only because the keys do not light up, but the keys do not change, so if you know the number, you can still dial in the dark. It was easy to set up and program, and being able to plug the handsets into just a recharger base makes it very convenient to always being handy, (other than my winding up having two sitting next to me at my desk as I bring one in from the other room when on a call...but that is an "operator error". :-) Buy.com had the best price with delivery and is always a pleasure to do business with. I HIGHLY recommend this telephone system! Was this review helpful?

First of all it is 2008, and why doesn't this phone have a light up keypad, double negative. I also was not impressed with the low quality of the speakerphone. I have a Vtech 5.8GHz and the overall quality is much better than this Panasonic Dect. I think they need to get up to speed with the times and upgrade this phone system.
On plus is that is takes AAA batteries and that is cost effective. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 BEST PHONE TECHNOLOGY & BEST PRICE Tuesday, April 22, 2008 Engineer 10388 from Raleigh, NC
The Panasonic KX-TG1034S, highly rated by Consumer Reports, uses the new 1.9 GHz frequency band reserved exclusively for DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) voice service. That means it won't interfere with or be affected by your wireless LAN, baby moniter, etc. (Mine is next to a Linksys Wireless-G LAN.) BUY.COM had the lowest *delivered* price on the internet. We're extremely pleased with the deal and with the phone's performance. I've always been partial to Uniden but the KX-TG1034S voice quality is the best I've heard (especially its greeting and messages). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product Tuesday, April 15, 2008 lauren from St. Charles, IL
I just set this up and found it to be user friendly.
All phones were set up quickly and easily. Manual is easy to understand and the quality of the sound is great... Was this review helpful?
2 of 2 customers found this review helpful. 1 of 5 It's the worst phone we have ever used... Tuesday, April 08, 2008 A Customer from Chicago
From the review it looked great. And, when I set it up, it was looking good. But I could not hear with the low or high volume on the ear piece. It dropped out sound from the caller all the time. You cannot carry on a conversation. Click. Click. Click the whole time you are on the phone like the really old cordless phones with channels. I hate it. And am sorry I spent the money. What a waste. And, by the way, I loved loved loved the panasonic cordless I had before. It's a shame we got rid of it. It was a 5.8 and I thought the 6.0 would be better. They sure fooled me. 1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 A great phone and answering machine Monday, March 03, 2008 A Customer from Flagstaff AZ
I bought this system based on the positive reviews read here and elsewhere. It is everything it claims to be--a great-sounding phone; uses cheap, easy-to-find AAA-sized NiMH batteries; and has an easy-to-use answering machine. It also indicates a new VoiceMail message assuming your phone service includes this feature. I use my system with VOIP from Vonage and all is perfect.
My only wish is that the buttons would be backlit when the LCD is lit so that it'd be easier to dial outgoing calls in a dark room. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great phones for the price Monday, February 11, 2008 A Customer from San Antonio, Tx
I've had these for about 6 months and no complaints. I haven't really tried all the features yet, just plugged them in and used them. The range is great and the kids like the intercom feature :). Was this review helpful?
3 of 3 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 a good buy Wednesday, January 02, 2008 A Customer from Birmingham, AL
I bought this phone after reading many reviews and I am happy with my purchase. The sound quality is very good as is the range. I like the ability to add up to six handsets. I found the set-up easy to figure out.
The only downside is the lack of backlighting. Now I have to turn on the lights to make a call in the dark (important when answering a midnight page). Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Super phone system Wednesday, December 26, 2007 PAUL from Sarasoita, FL.
The Panasonic DECT 6.0 Cordless (4) Phone system is the best sounding & user friendly phone system we have ever used in our home. Was this review helpful?

Not only can you set each phone to what ever ring tone you want. Because you only need a outlet, you can put the phones any where. Setting the phones up was very simple. The system is so easy, no one should have a problem. Was this review helpful?

We are extremely happy with our purchase. Have recomended it to friends and family! Only complaint - should be made in America by Americans. We would have happily paid more money. That goes for all products. Was this review helpful?
3 of 3 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Excellent value and quality Tuesday, September 25, 2007 Mark from Bridgeport, CT
These phones work out into the limits of our yard which works out to about 75-100 feet from the base station.
Voice quality is excellent. Speaker phone sound is also excellent. Good voice quality of messages on the answering machine. Belt clips are handy. Using this with a KX-TCA60 headset produces fine sound and a lot of convenience.
Very pleased. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great phone, no noise Wednesday, August 15, 2007 A Customer from Amarillo Texas
Had a Uniden 5.8 cordless phone that everyone complained about the noise level. Got this one and I love it. NO NOISE. Unit has some great features, like copying phone numbers from one handset to the other (one number or all), speakerphone on each handset, and all the other bells and whistles. Setting up is a little confusing, need to refer to the manual, but actual operation is fine.
Uniden, I'm through with your products and your support sucks. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Panasonic 6.0 series cordless phones Tuesday, July 17, 2007 Linda M. from West Seneca, NY
I only buy panasonic cordless phones, I learned from experience they last the longest. When I saw Panasonic came out with a new DEC 6.0. I thought it would be good. What a disappointment. I am in a middle of a conversation and my call get dropped as if I was on a cell phone, then I get a busy signal. The person I was talking to was on a landline phone. A few times I picked up the phone to use it and I get a busy signal. I have to put the phone back on the base. If I walk out side with it, it doesn't always work. I never had a problem with my old panasonic 5.8. I wish I bought that instead. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great phone system - DECT is fantastic! Thursday, June 21, 2007 Tim from San Antonio, TX
After buying a Philips Dect Baby monitor and experiencing no static, hum, etc. I knew that my next phone purchase needed to incorporate the same technology. True to the performance of the Baby Monitor these phones are crystal clear. The replacable batteries, syncing between handsets, and all the other great features are just gravy. They work great with Vonage which is another big plus. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 DECT 6.0 phones work as advertised Sunday, May 27, 2007 A Customer from St. Louis MO
I purchased these phones because my 2.4 GHz phones were interfering with my wireless network and because they had significant static. Guess what? The new phones do not interfere with wifi and have no static! This may not seem shocking, but then how many things (or people for that matter) actually do what they are supposed to? So I am pleased. An unexpected bonus for me was the ability to access voicemail from any hand set.
The only negatives I see are that there is a slight lag between when you pick up the receiver and when the connection is made, and the sound quality is a bit muted. Was this review helpful?
