Panasonic has excellent quality products. The innovative knob quickly sets the cook time even when long cook times are required. Turning the knob faster causes it to increment in bigger steps. The capacity allows for the large rectangular cassorle dishes with handles. The cooking is uniform and powerful. Buy.com is my favorite place to buy. It came the next day with free shipping. Have bought from them nearly 50 products-always extremely satisfied.

I purchased this unit after my Panasonic 983SF microwave stopped working after 5 years of light use. The 983 SF was had 1350 watts of power which no manufacturer apparently makes for the consumer anymore (no idea why). Based on my satisfaction with the 983, plus the fact that I did not need to purchase a new mounting frame ($150) as the old one fit, I purchased the 967 model (1250 watts). Very satisfied with BUY.Com. This is my second time making a purchase from them. Was told delivery time was 5 - 7 business days, yet had it at my door in less than 48 hours. Best price on the net plus free shipping.

The product is excellent. The only issue I have with my order is the shipping. When I purchased the item, it was listed as free shipping. When I paid for it, I was charged for shipping. When listing an item that way, It is misleading and not in good taste to have that shipping placed back on at the end of the order. I am very dissapointed.

We ordered the 967s after the black 965 became unavailable, and we are glad we did. The Panasonic 967S has a very convenient knob for setting the time, making heating tasks even easier, so the $20 difference in price was easily offset. Lets face it, a microwave is mostly used for heating and re-heating, popcorn, and minimally for scratch cooking. Popcorn setting worked great! Note: The published height measurement may be just a bit off. Had to shave a bit off the rubber feet to get the unit to fit through a "standard" cabinet cut-out.
