I have only used the keyboard a couple of times and it works for checking and replying to emails.
Unfortunately the manual is on the installation CD and it would be a great help if Palm included a card with the short cuts and keyboard functions. The hard manual that comes with the unit only contains vague information on installation, how to install batteries, opening the keyboard and raising the antenna.

5 of 5 palm universal wireless keyboard Tuesday, October 03, 2006 A Customer from CA
Really impressed with the size and its performance, allows me to input information so much faster than using they stylus. The device seems a little bit fragile, just want to make sure you don't drop it or bend it a wrong way. Other than that its a a great product. Was this review helpful?

This Keyboard is easy to use and works great. All you have to do is hotsync the intallation and then its up and running. There are no programs to open, just open the keyboard and put your palm in it to start typing. I have a Palm E2 and it works great. I use it for writing essays while I'm stuck on campus, or waiting for class to start. All in all a great value. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product at a great price Wednesday, September 20, 2006 A Customer from Cheraw, SC
The new Palm Universal Wireless Keyboard is a terrific product. I had been using a Logitech keyboard with my Palm M515, so when I upgraded to a Zire 72 I wanted IR. So I went with the new keyboard. It's much larger, the IR works great, and it folds up very small. I was very pleased (as ususal) with Buy.Com's quick service. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Just what I wanted... Tuesday, September 12, 2006 A Customer from Valdosta, Ga.
It is what I wanted and exactly what I expected. Takes just a little adjusting to get use to the size, but once you add short cuts to the functions you can fly. Really great when traveling...composing a letter...editing a spreadsheet. Works great. Was this review helpful?

I bought this keyboard for my Dell AXIM 30 and while I have had certain teething problems I have now got the hang of it and am getting pretty good performance. The whole trick for me was in the little twiddling, getting the best position for the probe and ultimate performance, but it has transformed my Pocket PC form as nice "toy" to a fully blown PC. I had the folding keyboard for the Palm m105. That keyboard is about as heavy and larger when folded out. It also had indented keys, this one does not. It is somewhat difficult to type fast on it, especially if you make typos because the backspace key is unintuitively located. However once you get use to the extra small size words flow freely most of the time. The connection between my palm and the keyboard has not had any problems. Great for taking notes in class. I always heard about the problem of compatiblility, so I quite worried when I bought this item. My palm is Tungsten E. Finally, everything is fine. I ignore the driver in the CD, but downloaded the file from Palm's website according to most people's opinions. The most exciting thing I found is that my software CJKOS(for showing Chinese, Japanese or Korean) is compatible with the keyboard. Typing English is without delay, but typing other languages through CJKOS has a bit delay (It is still acceptable).
Anyway, I like my new keyboard Was this review helpful?

I was completely disappointed after purchasing this keyboard. Upon opening it, I thought the design is awesome, the keyboard is sturdy and very compact when folded. I was excited to begin using it. But when I downloaded the driver from the PC and then clicked on the keyboard app on my Palm Tungsten T3, the screen just faded out. No soft or hard reset would work. I had to let the battery drain overnight and then reinstall all of my information. I lost some information, also. Overall, I am very disappointed. I have third-party apps that work 100% better than this product that was developed by PalmOne. I have since read MANY discussion board posts where users of Palm Tungsten T3's have experienced the same/similar problems. So, I would say user beware!!!! I don't know if it's just a problem with incompatibility with the T3 or other Palm handhelds as well. It's just not worth frying your PDA. Was this review helpful?
