This case is extremely valuable and offers the best all around protection for the iPod Touch. The best part is that it protects both the body, and the screen with its built-in membrane that allows you to operate all buttons and the screen while protecting the device. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to protect their iPod. I am a middle school teacher, and I let my students use my Touch in class. Now that I have the Defender Case, I no longer have to worry that it could get dropped or scratched. This thing is awesome! Was this review helpful?

apple store rep recommended this case as he used it for his own itouch. hard plastic shell with a clear "membrane" over the touchpad all wrapped up in a soft "silicone" cover. feels very sturdy and durable. buttons work well through the cover. the clear membrane does tend to trap some air bubbles between it and the screen, which is a little unfortunate, but the images on the screen are bright enough that it is hard to tell when in use.
