The members of the Osmond Family reflect on their lifelong careers in music and the arts, in this original A&E special. An entire family comprised of fabulously talented children, the Osmonds became child stars after being discovered at Disneyworld. Soon finding a place on THE ANDY WILLIAMS SHOW, the siblings were groomed for stardom from an early age, and signed a contract with MGM as teenagers. From there, the Osmonds shot to fame, dominating the 1970s with their versatile, contagious musical style. Donny and Marie hosted their own television show, which later turned into the OSMOND SHOW. The 1980s, however, saw the disappearance of this talented group from the entertainment sphere, as each member pursued various individual projects. Delving into the entirety of the Osmonds' lives and careers, this segment of the Biography series explores events from the perspective of almost every family member, and interviews with Andy Williams, ROLLING STONE editor David Wild and the president of Curb Records further flesh out the story. Icons of an era, the Osmonds are a fascinating rags-to-riches story, and this documentary sheds light on the arc of their career, from hitting it big to their even bigger comebacks.
