5 of 5 One of the all time best trance mixes out there. Monday, December 15, 2003 fjb4th from Williamsburg, Va
Pete Moutso has, without a doubt, cemented himself as one of the best Trance DJs on the scene. This mix will grab you, willing or not, and tranceport you to the floor of GLOW wherever you may be. The only gripe is an annoying skip during track changes. If it were not for that, it would be perfect. The music mixed and spin on this record is amazing, try it, you won't regret it. Black Hole presents ‘One Night At Glow…Washington DC’ an infectious blend of progressive tech-trance and uplifting techno expertly mixed by Glow resident DJ, Pete Moutso.
Since 1999 Glow has played host to the finest in European trance, counting globally recognized acts such as Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Armin van Buuren, Judge Jules, George Acosta, Marco V, Johan Gielen, Mauro Picotto, Cor Fijneman and Scott Bond among its residents and regulars. Over the years, Glow has built a name for itself beyond the DC/Baltimore metro area, attracting crowds from as far as New York City, Boston and other major east coast cities in pursuit of the hottest talent in trance.
From the very beginning, Pete Moutso has been the driving force behind Glow's musical vision. As both resident DJ and musical director, Moutso is the man behind Glow's special vibe, a vibe that has been compared to European club brands such as Gatecrasher and Godskitchen, but with it's own distinct east coast flavor.
With One Night at Glow, Moutso sought to create an album that reflected the Glow experience. Mixing dance floor pleasers from A-list producers such as Marco V, Three Drives, Armin van Buuren featuring System F, Paul van Dyk featuring Hemstock & Jennings to name a few, as well as the latest from Mark Norman, Solarstone and Signum. One Night at Glow is a must-have for any trance and techno fan, and Washington DC's Pete Moutso is definitely the man to watch.
