I ordered the Olympus VN-5000 512MB Digital Voice Recorder from Buy.com and had it in possession within one week. It performs exactly as specified. I am pleasantly surprised by its lightness: you may not remember that it is on your person at all once you carry it around a bit. The VN-5000 easily drops inside a shirt or pants pocket. I especially like the four-partition "folders" for recording differing types of messages. The clear, bright display and common sense "beepage" audio signals and levels are just right.
