1 of 5 Difficult to download photos Thursday, August 16, 2007

I purchased two of these cards, thinking that they would be as easy to use as other smaller capacity cards from Olympus. The first problem is that I have not been able to download the files to my computers in any way other than using the camera to USB port connection. My Sandisk card reader, and the reader on my HP laptop cannot locate files on the card. I tried some of the suggestions that I found on the web, to get the card to work, but these suggestions have not worked (e.g. re-formatting the card, etc.). The second problem is that I did not realize that there are different types of cards from Olympus. This one is an an M type, and it is much slower to access in the Olumpus Stylus camera than the H type. This difference (speed, not capacity) is not indicated in the detail information during my purchase. Overall, not satisfied! Was this review helpful?
