5 of 5 Great TV For A Great Price Too Bad Tuesday, July 22, 2008
Anthony from Deerpark, NY

The company has filed for Chapter 11 and will be absorbed by another corporation. I know buy tech geeks wont allow this to be posted but the truth of the matter is I purchased the TV knowing the facts. Facts like there will be basically no warranty honored by a company that doesnt exist or tech support etc. etc. So if your brave enough to purchase knowing this more power to you. It's is still a good tv with very good picture quality as I own 3 of them.

1 of 5 OLEVIA IS DEAD! Chapter 11 Bankrupcy Tuesday, July 08, 2008
J.Anthony from Upstate NY
Although this product once gave good bang for the buck, now it's not worth the plastic it's housed in. And if you thought tech support was bad before, try it now! The companies stock is trading at $0.03 (YES thats Three cents) as of 7/8/08 which means tech support as well as warranties are usesless! Good while it lasted but now is gone. Good luck to those like myself who own one or more of these LCD TV's.

5 of 5 An awesome TV Thursday, April 17, 2008
A Customer from Ridge Manor, FL
In taking a chance with an unkown brand of TV I purchased the 537 and was I in for a surprise. This is the most outstanding television I have ever owned. The only flaw was that HDMI port 1 wasn't working and Olevia promptly sent me a new set. I was so impressed with the product and the company I purchased a 42 inch for the living room. I had been a die hard Mitsubishi fan until Olevia came along. Crisp, clear and outstanding color clarity with no dead pixels in either set.

5 of 5 Good TV Thursday, December 27, 2007
Hank from Pine Bluff, Ar.
Reasonable price and plenty of features. My only complaint would be the manual is on CD. It would have been much easier to tune the color from a printed manual. I ended up printing 3/4 of the manual to get the color right.

4 of 5 Durable TV Tuesday, December 11, 2007
A Customer from New Jersey
Delivers a great HD image for the price. Non-HD isn't as great. Wife has hit the screen 2x hard while in her fits of rage and nothing has happened! Only has one HDMI input, but I bought a auto HDMI hub. It doesn't remember channels all the time - Better off using a HD Box...

5 of 5 Good Value Monday, December 10, 2007
A Customer from Ottawa, OH
I like it so far, 2 weeks. I had heard the menu wasn't very good but I have seen worse and it isn't something you change a lot. It has decent speakers for a TV. When you turn it on it is a little slow "booting" up.

5 of 5 Easy setup, great picture Tuesday, December 04, 2007
jbot from Houston, TX
We have a 45" Sharp Aquos, and it doesnt render standard def. TV as well as this one (even with the size difference). I considered Samsung, Sony, Sharp and Viewsonic and standard def (what we mostly watch thru DirecTV) looked the best on this LCD, in fact much better than I expected. My advice is to see it in person, it's the best value out there. HDTV looks like HDTV. It has 2 HDMI ports, which I didnt know, so I hooked up the Mac Mini - very happy with the result. Be careful looking at other 37" Olevias, this one has the chip that renders standard def, the other (see @ Wal-Mart) does not. Volume is more than adequate for our 14'x15' room, an the LCS size on the peerless mount looks great, if not a tad big.

5 of 5 Great Value Thursday, November 08, 2007
A Customer from Tulsa, OK
I have had this tv for about 9 months and have not had one single problem. It arrived in perfect condition 3 days after ordering it and was easy to set up. I don't know about the remote that is mentioned because I set my cable remote (cox) to the tv and have enjoyed it ever since. The picture is good, the hd channels are great. The only thing I wish is that I would have gone bigger! I love this tv and would recommend it to anyone looking. I have not found a better value anywhere.

5 of 5 Amazing TV! Wednesday, April 25, 2007
linzisu from Centreville, VA
This TV is amazing! The picture quality is really great! It looks just like the really well-known brand TV's, but at a much lower cost. Olevia will have to become well known soon with a great TV like the Olevia 537H. There is a slight delay in start-up, no big deal, and the wheel menu is just different then usual. COLOR is really great too. I didn't have to do any adjusting, and the colors look like real life. This is a best buy.

5 of 5 Great Deal! Works Great! Tuesday, April 24, 2007
A Customer from Moline, IL
I've had the Olevia 37" LCD running for a few days now and couldn't be happier. It looks great! This is definately a great value. I hung it on the wall with a VESA compliant bracket ... which was pretty straightforward. It does take a little while to turn on (10 seconds or so), but that isn't any big deal to me. I do notice the lag in changing channels which others have mentioned here. This is annoying, but isn't any different than changing channels on my digital cable box. All in all, a great buy!

5 of 5 Works for me! Wednesday, April 18, 2007
Robert from Manchester, Mo.
I've found my Olevia 537H to be a great TV for a great price. I researched extensively for a quality HDTV at a low price point and I am not disappointed. I don't have it hooked up to HD satellite yet but plugged in my rabbit ears with UHF hookup and the over the air HD is amazing. I can't wait to get all the HD channels with my satellite. The picture with the standard satellite is very good. My only mild complaint is that I felt like I needed an engineering degree to figure out how to get started watching. I am slowly becoming accustomed to the nuances of operating the TV. I'm enjoying the ride.

5 of 5 Don't pass on this tv Monday, April 02, 2007
honks69 from Pittsburgh, PA
Ordered this tv on Tuesday morning and it arrived on Friday. This was with the free ground shipping. Iteam arrived in perfect condition. Picture quality is as good if not better then my samsung dlp tv. The only complaint i would have is the blue led light that glows when the unit is shut off is SUPER bright and it lights up my whole bedroom. I mean if that's the only complaint there's no reason not to get this tv.

5 of 5 Great Value - CR rated this set well! Wednesday, March 28, 2007
BK from CT
I found the picture to be very sharp and the setup is fairly easy. The only issue i had was with the remote - it would not work with my DVR (COX). Their remote will work but it is not layed out as I am used to so I picked up a low end learning remote for $25 and it works perfectly! The blue off light and the delays folks are mentioning are not a big deal. As for the picture distortion at the top of the screen that is mentioned - you can adjust the picture to get rid of it. The adjustments you can make on this set are extensive and found in higher end sets which makes it that much more of a value.

5 of 5 Super Value Wednesday, March 28, 2007
Jay from Long Island, New York
I've had it a few months and it is really nice. I also have a 32inch model... The picture is clear and there are so many functions... Yes it takes 5 seconds to warm up... Big Deal.. The distortion can be cleared by using the horizontal/vetical picture function... Great set for the money

4 of 5 Nice for the money Sunday, March 18, 2007
trbo20 from Philadelphia, PA
Sharp picture and a wealth of options. My only complaint is that the TV's operating system is very slow. Changing input source can sometimes take a few seconds to go from component to component and you're forced to scroll through all 7 sources in a linear manner. Other slow software items such as channel changing can be awkward to use. Overall, it’s a great TV for the money though.

4 of 5 Good Deal Thursday, March 08, 2007
Dstephjo from Oviedo, FL
Quick shipping, easy setup, and a good picture. I have this TV in my bedroom and its the perfect size. In some picture modes, there is a little bit of distortion on the very top of the screen, but this isn't an issue. The slow boot up isn't as big a deal as everyone makes it out to be, and the blue light that stays on when the TV is off isn't a big deal either. Great price for what you get, the HD is sweet.

5 of 5 Super quality! Monday, February 26, 2007
A Customer from Maryland
I love this baby, I have used it for about 3 weeks and it works. No problem at all. Good contrast ratio and super quality. The only drawback is the time to powerup is kind of long(around 5 seconds), but coz I dont know how long other LCD TVs take to power up, so I just give my feeling. The best thing is I didnt found any bad spot on the screen which I never dare to expect, I am very happy with it which doesnt have a bad spot. BTW I bought a brand new one, fast delivery.

4 of 5 NICE LCD Monday, February 12, 2007
wenzelweiner from Marshfield, Wisconsin
I am impressed by the performance of this TV. Only problem was the CD that came with the TV on how to install ect., would not open for me to read. Went to Olevia website and downloaded. Am still learning all the settings, but overall a "GOOD" buy for a "VERY GOOD" set.
