4 of 5 Laser printer with toner included Wednesday, January 28, 2009 RJR from Prescott, AZ
When I received my Okidata C3600N Printer Ink & Toner, I printed out OKI's sample picture and two more of my own. Although mine were high quality photos, they didn't appear to be as good as the sample picture. Then, the printer indicated that I needed to order both yellow and cyan toner as it was low.
After printing out more personal photos, the indicator remained the same. I contacted Okidata tech service and I was told to ignore the warning lights and watch to see if any other toner colors show that they are low.
I'm still printing and the toner cartridges are OK.
I like the printer but I'm concerned about either a bad indicator or insufficient toner from the factory. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good old Oki Wednesday, July 30, 2008 Seth from Indiana
I have always liked Oki. I used an old B&W printer to death. Easy set-up/hook up to network with DCHP!
Pros-Really is quiet, has a sleep mode, fast printing. EXCELLENT, accurate color. Totally adjustable color/gamma/contrast.
CONS- Where are the ICC/ICM profiles for this?!?!
OKI SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES AT THE PRICE OF RAM UPGRADE!!!!
The part is basically a notebook computer PC133 SODIMM. 512K for a laptop is about $35-50. OKI just moved the notch so they won't fit. It would have been all 5's, except for that.
Need a new standard cap toner? Get a new drum (though it's good for 15K prints) and it comes with a cart--for only $3 more.
Great printer for wireless networks.
Still love Oki. Was this review helpful?
