5 of 5 Great Product Monday, September 22, 2008 A Customer from Raleigh, NC
8GB's and fast; no performance complaints from me. Very small in size, I keep mine on my key chain so it sees a lot of rough use and has kept up very nicely; very durable. Only drawback is the small, clear cap. I dropped it once in a computer lab and it took like 5 minutes and 3 people to find it, lol.
Overall, great deal and awesome product. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Very satisfied with product Tuesday, August 19, 2008 A Customer from Ford City, PA
The flash drive arrived quickly and works just fine. It's very small and I hope we don't lose it or the cap. A little pricey without the rebate, which I'm still waiting for. Once the rebate arrives, I believe this to be a good value. Glad I bought it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 great buy! Tuesday, August 12, 2008 A Customer from Carpinteria, CA
This is a great deal. I bought one several weeks ago and appreciate the extra space to backup all my pictures! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Fast access and compact Tuesday, August 05, 2008 alakuo@hotmail.com from HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL
It is smaller than other 1GB Flash drives I have for easier carrying. It also has a faster access speed in read/write on my XP Pro PC. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 fulfills it's purpose, good price Sunday, August 03, 2008 tocayo from Jersey Shore, PA
I bought this drive in conjunction with a rebate which cut the price in half. Good deal. I've only had it for a short time, but so far it has worked well and seems reasonably fast for my purposes. As mentioned in another review, the cap does not fit on the end of the drive, so when it's not in place, it could be easily lost. But with previous drives, I often didn't put the cap on the end anyway, so that has not been a problem for me. Nor do I use a lanyard, so it didn't bother me that it doesn't come with one. But it does have a loop where you could connect a lanyard if you would want to. The drive is very small, making it nice for carrying in my pocket. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. 5 of 5 Cute and fast Friday, August 01, 2008 alakuo@hotmail.com from HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL
It is really very small comparing with my other 1GB drives. My daughter loves this size for easy carrying. I like the access speed in my XP-pro Windows PC. I don't know how to measure it but I can tell faster than all other flash drives I have. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Handy, very handy Thursday, July 31, 2008 John Customer from Oregon, USA
8 gigs in my pocket. Very nice. I use the drive to transfer files between my laptop and my desktop. I have filled and emptied the drive several times. Works flawlessly.
Much smaller than my former 1 gig drive. However, with the metal frame it is heavier.
Yes, the cap comes completely off and you do have to track what you do with it.
The drive itself just roams around in my pocket, so far without troubles.
OCZ has a winner in this drive. I rate it as a 5 because it simply does what I need to do. Price was right, there may be quicker or fancier ones out there but this one performs well.
Good 8 gigs for the money Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Does what it promises Thursday, July 31, 2008 daddyman from Carrollton, GA
Compact and handy...I got this little 8gigger for use on my Philips DVDplayer (DVP5992/37). I have successfully used it for about a month now, and it has worked flawlessly. It is small enough where it does not stick out too much from the front of the set and so it can fit in some tight spots, but it is still solid enough to allow for easy retrieval. As mentioned in the other review, there's no key holder slot or neck band or anything, so know that this is a "pocket drive" Unlike the other guy though, i anticipated losing the cover, and so just left it on top of my dvd player...it's still there.
Great product that streams beautifully to my standalone player, great small but big enough size. 8gigs...what more can I say... Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great deal! Tuesday, July 29, 2008 richard from ca
With the free shipping and mail in rebate...i couldn't pass this up.
I am very pleased with its performance as well. It seems to be faster than my Cruzer. It also feels pretty sturdy.
My only concern is that the little metal clip on my lanyard that holds on to the back of the flash drive seems to be scratching the back of the plastic. I hope that it doesn't eventually scratch right through the plastic. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great Product...Great Price Tuesday, July 29, 2008 DougC from Champlin, MN
Thin enough to not impair nearby USB slots. Super fast USB2.0 speed. Universally recognized even on older systems. Cap stays snug. Best price on the Planet. Highly recommendable. I put a velcrove wrap on one side of the drive and on the cap so I will not lose the cap. They should have made the ring on the top bigger and of more sturdy material. May have to use JB weld to put a metal ring in place and perhaps chain the cap to that. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Classy Looking Drive! Tuesday, July 29, 2008 Dean from Madison WI
I really like the looks of this drive. Fairly compact, overall performance...decent (8.5 mb/s read - 19.5 mb/s write), metal body gives it a classy look. End cap lights up red when drive is accessed (I'm a blue fan). USB Cap fits lightly. I'm not sure how it will hold up over time (in pockets), but I like capped drives vs retractable drives. I'd buy it again either way. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Wow! Lots of room! Monday, July 28, 2008 A Customer from Hope, AR
Nice drive, fast and lots of room.
The only thing I don't like about it is loosing the cap so soon. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Tiny, does the job nicely Monday, July 28, 2008 A Customer from Bloomfield, MI
I was surprised and love how small it is, about the size of my pinky. A breeze to use, simple clean design, and the cap fits snugly so I'm not worried about losing it. Nothing to complain about, but I probably wouldn't have bought it without the rebate + google checkout deal. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great USB drive for the price Thursday, July 24, 2008 Gaurav R Shrivastava from Miami, FL
I'm very happy with the product as it gives me good reliablity and speed. It has a compact size with a huge capacity. Certainly a great value for the price. A lanyard or a tight cap will be a good idea if inlcuded with the product. Was this review helpful?
2 of 3 customers found this review helpful. 2 of 5 Compact - No lanyard Tuesday, July 15, 2008 Sandeep from Hanover Park, IL
USB Flash Drive - is nice and compact - only if they would have included a lanyard or something to hang on to the drive and shamefully the cap does not fit on the back of the drive when in use - so i already lost my cap in one weeks time. Was this review helpful?
