Very very pleased with the decision I took to buy this memory module for my ACER ASPIRE 9300 laptop. My original had 1GB and my system would walk like a turtle with Visual Studio and Internet Explorer running. Now I can play DVD , firefox and image editing software along with it with no problem. Hey, it's memory...what's to say, either it works or it doesn't. This product works great in my Dell Vostro 1400; I've had no problems in the 2 weeks I've been using it. This memory is a good performer, although you can get higher performance / lower CAS memory -- but definately not for this price. Was this review helpful?

Nothing bad to report about the memory. Installation was easy and knowing that XP only recognizes 3.5GB of memory wasn't a factor. I've seen a definite improvement in my speed and I went from 2GB in my XPS M1710 to the 3.5 that XP sees. Good purchase! Was this review helpful?

The memory installed in my laptop and working out good. I had a little extra trouble installing the second DIMM in my Compaq/HP (6910p) laptop. I had to remove the keyboard to get at it so if you are replacing both and there is not a second slot on the bottom, check the documentation on how to get at the second one. Was this review helpful?

2 minutes to install and a world of difference over my original 1 gig. Running windows vista 32-bit on a presario f700 and it recognizes all 4 gigs even though manufacturer says 3 max. Rebate has been received but is still processing so we shall see. Was this review helpful?

It's memory, pretty much a commodity now, what is there to say? But anyway, it was a great price with a rebate, it performs as it should (I'm not overclocking it), ease of use is 100% dependent on what you are putting it in but my Dell Latitude D531 with XP Pro recognized it with no problems. Buy.com shipped it quickly and it worked out of the box, so overall satisfaction is a 5. Now let's see if I actually get the rebate... Was this review helpful?

Never installed laptop memory before and still only took 2 minutes. Went from 1 gig to 4 so difference is very noticeable. RAM usage went from 65% down to 23% on startup. Running windows vista 32-bit and it actually recognizes all 4 gigs on a Presario F700 even though manufacturer says 3 max will be recognized. Installed the ram in five minutes and it worked right away with my white macbook 2.4 ghz. From 2gb ram to 4gb ram my computer is running very quick and smooth now.

Zippy RAM. Has improved my notebook speed - Sony Vaio FZ. My 32bit Vista only recognizes 3GB of the 4GB, but adding 50% more RAM alone was a big difference maker and I have ample free memory now. Now lets just see if I actually get back the rebate... Was this review helpful?

I purchased the memory in june and for one month after installing the memory modules my computer was giving me more headaches that i could handle. The problem was with the ram and it refused to show up in any diagnostics. After a month, it finally did and i asked for a rma. turns out that ocz makes you pay for the postal charges of shipping them the faulty product, which is totally unethical.
On top of that, they denied my rebate even though i had all the documents attached.

Went from 1GB to 4GB in my Macbook. Install takes less than 5 minutes. There's a noticeable difference in performance. Rebate took a while, but I just got the check today and it was easy to track the progress online. As with any brand name memory, it comes with lifetime warranty. Got this for my Dell Inspiron 1420 with Vista. It works great. Just remember that 32bit version of Vista, will only recognize (or use) 3.5gb. Well, on my Dell, with Vista, SP1 it shows "available" 3.5gb, it shows 4gb "installed". f you want to save some money, you could probably get 3gb, (but then it won't be taking advantage of Dual-Channel).
