Jerry Lewis directed, co-wrote and starred in this riotously funny movie that set a new standard for screen comedy and inspired the hit remake. How will Julius/Buddy resolve his Jekyll-and-Hyde dilemma? This film cemented Jerry Lewis's reputation as a comic genius; he co-wrote and co-produced the film while also turning in a fabulous performance. This film served as the basis for Eddie Murphy's later Nutty Professor films.
