5 of 5 I'm not even a "Bluegrass" fan, but I re Sunday, March 09, 2003

This is one of the finest albums I have heard in the longest time! Being a huge, and I do mean HUGE, James Taylor fan, I heard him say during a rare but recent interview that one of his favorite songs right now is "The Lucky One" by Alison Krauss. I had seen her on a few awards shows and wasn't really "that" impressed, but I thought if James Taylor liked one of her songs, that the girl must be doing something right! Well, JT was right. When Alison sings the Angels stop to listen and learn....
Even though the song, "The Lucky One" is NOT on this particular album, (It is on "New Favorite") I found this album to be the most mellow and enjoyable album. I find myself taking it with me on long driving trips in the car, because of its smooth and easy way that it weaves its simple story. Fine backup and gentle arrangements make this album a "have to" purchase for your collection, even if you don't care for bluegrass.
This is just GOOD music for the soul......and we all need that.
