Up to 64 port-based or policy-based VLANs -and up to 4,096 transit VLANs -can be established for each switch, to extend the broadcast domain and segment network traffic. Every switch port supports 802.1Q VLAN trunking and 802.10p priority queuing, enabling efficient transport of broadcast domains across switches, and enabling important network traffic prioritization.
