5 of 5 Cool looking and comfortable Sunday, August 10, 2008

I've used the Nokia BH-302 for a couple weeks now and am addicted to using it. It easily adjusts for a comfortable fit and I often forget that I have it on. The sound is great, although when I use it to listen to some podcasts, the sound isn't loud enough (although this is more of a problem caused by some podcasts than a problem with the unit). It also looks pretty cool. It's small a enough that it doesn't have the Borg-like appearance of taking over my face, and it's nicer looking than the ones that are just a little black box. Then again I'm probably prejudiced since my field is Bronze Age archaeology. The first time I saw the BH-302 I thought that it was perfect for me... a Neolithic design on bronze device. Technology with an archaeological theme, the ultimate in retro-geek! The earpiece fits easily on either ear and is flexible so it can be bent to fit comfortably. Outside of the quibble about hearing some podcasts, the unit works great, looks good and does everything it's supposed to do, which makes my life easier.
