5 of 5 Exceeded my expectations Saturday, October 31, 2009 A Customer from Mill Creek, WA
How can you beat it for the price?
I can't compare it to the $50 cables you can buy - I'm not that knowledgeable. But I am very glad I bought these. They are a significant improvement over the standard fare that came with the wii. Was this review helpful?

There are some improvements to picture. Cables are well made and very heavy duty, fast shipping and excellent price too. I am very satisfied with the purchase. Was this review helpful?

Better picture than with the standard cables, however not the greatest on my 50" plasma. Hard to beat the price! Buy.com always ships super fast! Was this review helpful?

Good value (at $6.50 each) -- this is the price we *should* be paying for things as simple as A/V cables. These work just as well as the $50 Monster ripoffs. Was this review helpful?

480p is the best signal you can get out of a Nintendo Wii. These cables appear well made and sturdy. These are exactly what I expected. The audio and video signals from my Wii to my 52" HDTV are clear. Was this review helpful?

I bought this cable hoping to improve the quality of the image. Truth is there is no change. I wonder if Wii transmits in HD anyway.Low price made it attractive. Will have to use this cable as spare just in case. Not worth the time and price to return it. Was this review helpful?

True that it is not HD, but for the price, we found it to be worth it. My sons and wife use the Wii more than I and they say that there is an improvement in picture quality. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Is as advertised! Saturday, April 11, 2009 Hank from Buena Vista, VA
Very simple to connect, with a clear difference in quality! Shipping was very quick as well. For this price, why not?! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works Great - Good Price Saturday, April 11, 2009 A Customer from Chattanooga, TN
The cable functions well and does improve the video slightly. Very good price compared to Nintendo cable. Would purchase this item again. Was this review helpful?

This package came to me within a couple of days.
It makes Wii look sharper, especially since now i can use the HDTV to its full Potential. 480p is better than what you already have. Great Product at a Great Price Too!

...as intended so far. Save a few bucks by getting this cable instead of the official Nintendo one (which should come with the system in the first place). Unfortunately, the Wii only displays in 480p which is not true HD. C'mon Nintendo, get up to speed with everyone else. Was this review helpful?

This is a wonderful addition to my Wii. I am now able to connect the Wii to additional TV's with very little effort. I leave one connector on each TV and moving the Wii around is no effort. The quality of the product is excellent. Good buy Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Great and cheap Tuesday, April 07, 2009 John from Virginia Beach, VA
This is a good product at a great price. It is a great improvement from the regular A/V cables that come with the Wii. However, the Wii does not put out HD, so the clarity is not amazing.
Don't be confused by other reviews. If you have an HD TV, you should use a component cable like this. Even though this cable does not technically carry HD, the component connection will not burn out your screen like the basic RCA connection that came with your Wii. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Bargain Tuesday, April 07, 2009 A Customer from Rochester NY
Gets rid of the color aliasing (rainbow colors) in black and white texture regions. Keeps the grays looking gray. For a fraction of the price of the "official" cables, this one does a great job. Was this review helpful?
2 of 8 customers found this review helpful. 1 of 5 480p is NOT HD Thursday, March 19, 2009 A Customer from Las Vegas, NV
Don't be fooled. 480p is standard definition progressive DVD quality, not HD. Some call it ED. Some will tell you that 720p is HD. If you want true HD video you need to look for a device that outputs 1080p. Only one video game system currently supports true HD and unfortunately it's not the Wii. These cables are a waste of time. 5 of 5 Good cables, good price... Wednesday, March 04, 2009 R.C. from Springfield, MO
Nothing special. They are good and heavy quality...The picture difference is not spectacular but still worth it for only like $10. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 HDTV Results Wednesday, December 31, 2008 A Customer from Washington D.C.
Better? Yes. High definition? No. Wii games look a little better than they did with the stock cables, but my kids didn't say anything like "wow" when they saw it. Was this review helpful?

1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Excellent Product Tuesday, December 09, 2008 A Customer from Boston, MA
Overall, an excellent product. Noticed a significant improvement in resolution. Only drawback is that because of the design, it is not possible to route the audio to a separate place than the video (only about 12in between where cables split and the connectors). Seems like many of the component wii cables have this same design. Not an actual problem with the product, but something to know if you want your audio to go to a separate receiver. If you have a Wii, you need these cables. I don't know why they're not standard with the set. But if you have an HD tv you should get these. Don't forget to go into the Wii settings and change the resolution mode. Was this review helpful?
