Nintendo Wii Charge Station Charging Dock (Includes 2 Rechargeable Battery Packs) by Nyko - 87000

I need to buy a new one, and a new set of batteries. We don't tend to do the games as much. We bought Wii for the board and the Wii Fit games, which is great. But you still need the controllers. We used it really a lot during last summer, but then over the winter, not at all... when we decided to use again, a similar thing happened to us as to another reviewer. Put the remotes on the charger, blue light turns green within a minute... how can this be? It won't work, so I leave them in the charger overnight, but though the green lights glow, the units function for less than 60 seconds. They were not left on the charger while we were not using it. I am told there is no way to tell if it is the batteries that are bad, or the charger, so I must either buy two new batteries, and see if they will recharge on the charger unit, and if not, must then buy a new charger unit (which comes with fresh rechargeable batteries). Seems like it's cheaper to just go ahead and buy the whole deal again. So it works great, but I don't know for how long, before you are replacing it all... or you are back to buying batteries!

A friend advised me to get this and I waited until I had to replace my batteries twice before I realized how much sense it made. I'll never be told my batteries are low again because they stay charged all the time. An excellent product like the other Nyko recharger I have for the balance board. It's good for the money saved and for the environment.

Ordering was quick and easy as always at buy.com Ordered on Sunday afternoon, order was sent out on Monday with free shipping and we received it on Wednesday. Buy.com kept us up to date on the order with tracking info and UPS delivered it right on time and it the best of condition. We wanted it for grandsons Christmas gift, he and his Dad hooked up the charger and it works just as it should.

I have two sets of the Nyko rechargeable batteries for 4 Wii controllers. They seem to work well and are of good quality. The only drawback is having to remove the skin from the Wii to recharge.

Don't waste your money on the cheap-o unit for $10 - mine died in a month. This is the replacement unit I picked up and it has worked flawlessly for more then 3 weeks now. Highly recommend.

I bought a Nyko Charge Station for the Wii about six months ago. It was very good at first but problems soon began appearing. About a month after I purchased the product, the wii remotes began malfunction during gameplay. Doing the same things with a normal remote, there was no problem. Now many months later, after playing for hours without charging and remote dies, I put the remote back on the charger. But the chargers immediatly lights up green, signaling that the remote is fully charged. But how can it be after seconds of charging. Now the thing won't even charge the remotes, it just sits there, being useless. And some of my friends are having the same problems. I tried to look up the warranty online, but the very un-user-friendly company Nyko posts nothing about the warranty. So take my advice and do not buy this product, you will probably regret it.

Great setup for the daily Wii player who does not feel like purchasing a great deal of Double-A batteries. Only problem is that the Wii controllers do not snap into the charging docks; they just sit in them. You have to make sure the charging light comes on before walking away. Otherwise, fantastic product!

We were totally pleased with our purchase of the wii charger. I came looking for some memory and after adding the credit card and using the 30.00 credit I added the charger. It's cheaper then any retail store. Shipping was very fast on the charger on the slower, cheaper service. We've used the charger over a week and it's been fantastic. I would highly recommend buy.com. Also, noticed the games are cheaper here. thanks

I bought it for a present for Christmas and the person i gave it to say he loves it. It's much earier to chare remotes, so they'll be ready to use any time you need them.

This is a must have for the Wii. The only down size is that the controller with this battery does not fit into the zapper. Small price to pay!

The charge station keeps your Wii remotes always ready with a fresh charge, and saves $$$ in batteries if you play the Wii alot! Just large enough to hold the remotes, it doesn't take up much space and it matches the other Wii gear so it isn't an eyesore. My only complaint is that the battery charge connections on the back of the Wii remotes prevent you from keeping a Wii jacket on the remotes when you put them in the charger, but this charger does come with rubberized battery covers that help with the grip so you really don't need the Wii jacket.

Yahoo! We went through batteries so fast with the wii remotes. We got the rechargeable about two weeks ago and we have full power all the time. It's great... I will order another one soon.

A small price to pay for less litter & a perpetually charged Wii remote. The charge lights can be a bit bright, but otherwise a great product overall. Yay!

Charges great and holds the charge for a good amount of time. Only two troubles. <br> <br> 1. The wrist strap can separate the connection and pause the charge. It takes time to position the strap and charge correctly. <br> <br> 2. There is no way to buy the individual batter packs if you have 4 remotes. <br> <br> Other than that, it works great

It's nice to be able to just drop my wiimote in the charger after I am done playing, knowing that I will always have a fully charged remote on my return. Takes up little space. I love that I will never have to open up the battery cover again. Sometimes the wiimote wriststrap gets in the way and a charge connection isn't made. Just make sure to pull the strap outta the way when setting your wiimote on the charger base and you'll be fine.

this item is pretty good, we can recharge the wii remote, and don't need to waste money to buy the battery. But one thing I believe is not very good is the fitment for the stand. We know that we put the strip to the wii remote, when I put the remote on the stand for recharge, I have to push hard to the stand for recharge, otherwise the light will not on. the design forget about the strip on the remote! Beside that the idea is very good!
