5 of 5 OUTSTANDING GAMEPLAY Wednesday, October 22, 2008 KNIGHTWING from U.S.A.
This is a great game, I highly recommend it. The gameplay is fantastic. You learn more techniques as you progress through the game, and you are reminded about moves you need to perform as you go, so the learning curve is well executed. The Difficulty is very challenging, but is more forgiving than the first game, and rewards you for your hard work. Saving is frequently available, and if you die, your life and all your items stay with you. Overall, this is a graphically rich game, with challenging gameplay. Very fun and enjoyable, but definitely not for kids. This is a Mature game with lots of blood, dismemberments, and monsters. This game marks the last of the great Team Ninja games from Tecmo. Tomonobu Itagaki, the man soley responsible for the Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden series is no longer with Tecmo, as well, most of the members of Team Ninja has disbanded from the company. This is definitely a game to pick up and enjoy, since it will most likely be the last of it's kind. Tecmo still owns the rights to both franchises, so sequels to both DOA and NG are possible, but seeing as they will not be developed by either Tomonobu Itagaki, or the core people at Team Ninja, this game will be considered the last great Tomonobu Itagaki/Team Ninja game as we knew them. 4 of 5 lots of cheap deaths Monday, October 20, 2008 neil from wi
Beat the game on hard last week. It's fun, but you'll die in really cheap ways lots of times. Also the camera is frustrating. Just remember you can always set it down and come back to it later. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Nice sequel Tuesday, July 08, 2008 Mick from Seattle, WA
I'm only on level 5 right now, but I love it. If you like the 1st game, and were not turned off by it's difficulty, you will like this one just as much. So much ninjaness it's hard to fathom. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 No Story = Boring Monday, June 23, 2008 Chips from Chicago IL
It's a beautiful game and the combat system is insanely good, but there's no motivation. I thought I could sit down and beat this game in a few days, but so far I can only play an hour every couple days before I get bored with it. The original had a storyline, this one gives no incentive to kill thousands of dogs, ninjas, and werebeasts. Was this review helpful?
