4 of 5 Nice Camera... but... Saturday, December 22, 2007 ESigns from Bath, MI
This is the second Nikon with the swivel lens I've owned -- I absolutely love that feature. Camera is good quality. I have two problems with this camera, one: the shutter lag time is really annoying. You click a pic and it takes the pic about a second later. I've looked and looked to see if I could change a setting to make the photo instantaneous with the click of your finger, and have found you can't do it. In fact, then I started reading reviews online and everyone is complaining about it. My second problem is that the buttuns to select thru all the menu settings are REALLY small, I'm pretty good with technical electronics... and these buttons are small. Don't get me wrong, you can use them - but you make mistakes in doing what you want to do within the different settings BECAUSE of the smallness of the controls. OK, on the plus side, I still LOVE that swivel feature and it takes Nikon quality pics which I still find to be better than all the rest!
Not sure if I would recommend.

4 of 4 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Nice little camera Friday, October 20, 2006 Bill Stewart from Beaver PA
I bought the Nikon S10 as a small walk around cam when I don't want to carry my Nikon D200 SLR and big lenses. It works fine for that purpose and I'm very satisfied with it. It takes great photos, is very light weight and I find the swivel lens very convenient. The VR is also very effective. Was this review helpful?
