Michael W. Smith's newest praise CD, 'New Hallelujah' a live concert, follows his "Worship" and "Worship Again" with excellent music, great lyics, a fantastic children's choir from Uganda, and, of course, great songs that will have you listening to this CD over and over again. From the drums intro (ear-catching and leads into the music in a mighty way) to "The River Is Rising" (my personal favorite) you will not find a bad song on this CD. It's the best work Smith has done, bar none, although I loved the "Worship" series and the video. Smith will be inducted into the GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame on February 2nd, 2009, and justifiably so. I can't wait for the 'New Hallelujah' DVD to come out! If you love contemporary Christian music and want to listen to a great Christian artist perform both melodic and up-lifting songs in praise of God, this is a must for you...you won't be disappointed.
