NETGEAR WNDR3700 RangeMax™ Dual Band Wireless-N Gigabit Router - Premium Edition - WNDR3700-100NAS

I kept getting my wireless connection dropped for months and didn't know why until it started happening to all the laptops in my house. This led me to believe that my router could not handle the multiple connections I had to it. Bought this router and haven't had a single connection drop. Other reviewers are right about the lack of a print server, but I was buying this with a buffalo linkstation Network Attached Storage (NAS) which had a print server (and also 1TB of much needed space). My new router and NAS work very well together, as I am able to transfer very large video files in mere minutes. If you are looking to upgrade your router, this is the one.

I have been through several wireless routers. All either had a weak wireless signal or was touchy about staying connected to wired computers. This router is a good example of you get what you pay for. It wasn't cheap, but it performs very well. I am very happy with it.

Dual antenna, dual band, a,b,g,n networking, all the functionality is there. I get about 3.5mbytes/sec from 10ft away using N, which is nowhere near advertised speeds, but that's wifi for you. Other than that, it's a great router, does not drop packets or connections even on multi-hour transfers.

I tried many routers before from Linksys and Belkin and had a slow connection and lots of disconnections. since I got the WNDR3700 I have a very stable and fast connection and so far no disconnections at all.

The router was easy to set up. So far it has worked flawlessly. The order handling was also impressive. I ordered it, with the slow, inexpensive shipping, on a Monday afternoon, and it arrived the next day.

As an IT specialist I have seen and used countless routers. This is by far the best. Nice job. As Gabe says, this device has endless features and functions that may be modified to your needs. I have a wireless Windows Media Center attached, 2 ip-phones, a Windows Home Server, 2 laptops, an Exchange 2010 Server, a Windows DPM Server, a network printer, and my Windows Mobile phone hanging off of this thing. I use both wireless networks for my devices and both guest wireless networks for when friends come over. This is by far the best router I have ever used.

I have been waiting for this router to come out and it is finally here after the many delays. This router has all the bells and whistles which any gamer or computer tech savvy guy or gal would want. It is fast and has an excellent signal which can be adjusted on both 5ghz and 2.4ghz to save money on the electric bill if you want. There are so many settings you can mess around with, to optimize the performance for your needs. This router is a must for those of us who live in an apartment building with a lot of wireless networks in the building and a lot of wireless devices to go off of your network. I have a ps3, xbox 360, wii , two iphones, psp and macbook pro connected to my wireless network with no drops yet. Games and other downloads on my game systems seem to download faster. Videos on the Internet like youtube are playing simultaneously with very little buffering or none at all on my Macbook pro. It also has an Internet traffic counter to let you know how many gbs you are downloading every month. Which is key especially with Internet providers like Comcast who is going to start having a 250gb cap on the Internet every month starting in October. I can go on and on about this router because of all it has. There is one big problem for me though. I was under the impression that this router would have usb printer support so you can share your usb printer throughout your network but once I tried to hook up my printer it was a no go. I am very disappointed about this because I was looking forward to have both an external harddrive and my usb printer on my network. One more thing that bothers me is it is a finger print magnet like the ps3 but other then that I would highly recommend this router.
