5 of 5 Windows Media Streaming Monday, July 28, 2008 Jake from Ft Worth, TX
I bought this along with a WNDA3100 USB adapter to upgrade to 5Mhz N speeds. I had been streaming live tv from my computer to the x360 with a WRT54G and built in wireless from HP. There were serious lag issues and skipping. After upgrading, it works flawlessly. The computer is using the USB adapter and the X360 is connected to the WNDR3300. They are about 20ft away from each other with one wall in between. I am getting about 270mbps at 89% signal. The test on VMC is pegged at the top above HDTV quality. Was this review helpful?
0 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 3 of 5 setup is great works great range is Poor Tuesday, July 01, 2008 dave@playkids.net from Miami FL
i upgraded my Netgear G router and got maybe 5% to 10% better range than older G router model 614 . By downgrading the router to 2.4 Ghz . i got a large house and from the router to my sons room is exactly 43 feet. his notebook (has N wireless card inside)gets a low connection. i have called technical support very helpful but they cant do miracles when hardware doesn't support it.
when you are within the 30 feet range performance is good
I rate support excellent. range Poor Was this review helpful?
