I bought this adapter to use for my desktop since it was a reasonable distance away from the router and didn't want ethernet cables going across rooms. First, for a wireless n router I have to say this price is great. Even though this adapter is n-draft, I have no complaints about its performance. There are some times where the signal fluctuates but I'm pretty sure that's my router because the same happens to others on the network. The look is nice. It has a clean white look with a bright blue led that flashes when connected to the internet. It is a bit light though so put in somewhere that's least likely to be touched cause it'll probably fall down despite the small bottom support arms. Set up is fairly easy although there is a conflict between the Windows Wireless Zero Configuration and the netgear software. Whichever you use is up to your preference but it'd be better to stick with one. When I bought this adapter, I expected the max speed to be below 300Mbps since Buy.com specifies that 300Mbps is only achievable with a netgear router but after changing the channel width to 20/40Hz, I was able to get 300 Mbps on my TrendNet router (TEW-652BRP). Overall, I am completely satisfied. I continue to grow faith in refurbished products and would recommend this product to anyone looking for a cheap wireless-n adapter. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Adapter - Easy setup Sunday, May 03, 2009 MS from Jamison, PA
I installed a Netgear WNR2000 Router and have been adding these WN121T adapters to all my systems and laptops. We have 5 Desktops, 4 Laptops and the increased speed (over the "G" adapters) and the range is great. I've been buying the Refurbished models and they are perfect. Free shipping is good too. 5 of 5 WORK GREAT - ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE Wednesday, April 22, 2009 A Customer from Mission Viejo, CA
Upgraded my router to the Netgear WNR834Bv2 (also refurbished) and purchased two of these to get my laptop and my roommate's desktop connected with Wireless N. Had to return the router as it was defective - ordered another to replace it. The replacement was here the day after I ordered it. Just got my refund today (thanks Buy.com) and now everything works great. Speed increase on my laptop going to N over G is substantial. Signal is more than adequate. Unless you want an internal card or want to pay triple for the small USB adapters, you just can't go wrong with this setup. Well worth the $78 including shipping to get all 3 pieces. 4 of 5 Netgear Wn121t Refurbished Friday, April 10, 2009 A Customer from Orange,CA
The Netgear was shipped on time and came nicely packaged. The downside was it did not come with any software and you have go and download it from there site. I use this upstairs on the other side of my house and the coverage is awesome. It is hooking up with a Netgear G wireless range max WPN824 v2 router that sits down stairs on the other side of the house. Overall it is a great product and the merchant was very helpful when I asked them questions.

5 of 5 Excellent product, Excellent merchant Sunday, March 23, 2008 wgrossman from Fairfax Station, VA
I have a laptop w/o built-in N. I attached a Netgear N access point on the second level of my house to improve the reception. With this new Netgear USB N adapter communicating with the access point, I can communicate from my Laptop to server at 300MBS. Of cours, when I go to the internet, I hit the ISPs bottlenck of less than 100 MPS. Still, I communicate with my server a lot over the LAN so I am very satisfied.
The product isn't use, it seems factory refurbished. Well woth the $40 savings. Was this review helpful?
