    5 of 5 20/20 FiOS fast and reliable Monday, August 03, 2009
A Customer from New York City

I've had this router on my 20/20 mbps FiOS circuit for 8 months now. Ultra stable. Not one reboot. The VPN tunnels are stable as well. Rock solid. Much better than the FVS318 I had on my cable modem. I can sustain a 20mbps connection up and down with my friend's 20/20 mbps FiOS line for hours on end. Love the Netgear Lifetime warranty that it comes with should I ever have any problems. I have used the FVS338 at first (very stable) but the SRXN3205 is faster and has wireless.

1 of 5 Full Hardware Warranty? Not true! Wednesday, July 08, 2009
    Jeff from Montreal, Quebec
We had great expectations when we bought this router for a small business office with 5 people to replace a wornout Watchguard. We tried for 3 weeks to get it to work but it would only allow traffic at a slow speed, taking our 4.7 MBPS download speed to only 0.3 MBPS! After waiting 30 minutes to be connected to the correct department at Netgear and a gruelling 3 hours with their tech support, we were told that the Prosafe was defective and that we had to pay to get it shipped back to them with return prepaid to get a new one shipped back to us. We don't understand this: Netgear supplied a defective device and then we have to pay to get a new one??? Even after we spent hours to get it to work per their instructions? (Who will pay for those lost hours?)
